United Transport, Inc. — Local services in North Township

I work for this company for 2 years I decided to retire off the road. The company is always on time with its payment. They service their equipment at thwir own shop. They have a great place to stay at the yard it is fenced. Always kept my vehicle there because it was safe. I would describe this company more as a Midwest company. The staff and the office are wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Matt the owner is on top of things a very stand-up guy. Most of the dispatchers are foreign based not in the USA. I never had problems sitting always running enough. They don't really have a lot of perks . Other than they give you a CAT scale app they give you the prepass for the scales and also pay the tolls with a transponder. No health insurance but they will reimburse you some for your own insurance. Really not a lot of negative unless you consider getting home in 2-3 weeks. It could be more if you're in Chicago area. The equipment is well taken care I would go back to this company if I went back on the road. Small companies get hit hard with claims so the very small escrow I see as justification. I'd say it was good but it wasnt.. You're not going to.make more than 2k miles if you are lucky. Your dispatch will try to get you to run illegal or you'll sit, I HAVE MESSAGES.. Truck breaks down and you won't be paid. You'll be charged something random.. I HAVE PROOF. I have proof of my truck breaking down on a Friday, Me and my wife sat til Tuesday and this MATT THE OWNER only paid for Monday for breakdown pay.. Yall can go here at your own risk... This company is not valid whatsoever. Very suspicious they are not found on the bbb, they only accept Apple Cash for transactions, they do not have any person running a physical location, nobody to take or return calls, only a 24/7 live chat feature on the website. They claim fees and additional insurances including physical stamps on freight are not required, but company policy to collect. Said costs are claimed to be refundable, but they are not, they refuse refunds. There is a website, but no other proof this business is an actual business.
