I've stayed here and I give them no stars worst experience ever nosy rude complain about the littlest things there was a door in the back to get to my room that opened on its own you didn't even have to have a key to get in and they told me I couldn't come back because I propped the door open to get my things in.. just said I was a great customer I spent a lot of money there they never do the points correctly. And they watch you and give you no privacy the rooms are always halfway cleaned I wouldn't be surprised if half the rooms had bugs I mean it's just insane how can you DNR a person because they propped a door open to get their things inside the door didn't even lock you did not need a key to even get in. I swear to you guys maybe other Baymont like in Perrysburg or whatever I'm sure they look like the pictures above but this Baymont absolutely does not I promise you that. I spent so much there that I got enough reward points for three free rooms so that tells you right there you know but it was cheap and I needed that at the time waiting for my new place to be ready. And they just treat you terribly and I seen the pictures above and could not believe they are posting seeing them rooms look like that because they don't they haven't redid the rooms at the one in Northwood in at least 10 years so be careful...
Read moreThe room I booked and what was confirmed through baymont was not available due to "technical difficulties" which I don't understand why it would be confirmed when they said it was an ongoing issue. I had know way of knowing this prior to checking in. I would of not booked it at all if I was given this information but it was kept from me until check in. The only option was two double beds. This was not what I wanted or booked. Not to mention there were used tires in the parking lot. The entrance door to the hotel lobby would not open. It was not locked but in such disrepair it couldn't be opened. The lobby was absolutely filthy. There were only two lights out of the maybe ten in the lobby that worked. The clerk at check in said I had to pay a 50$ deposit for the room and was adament it had to be cash. I didn't even make it past this point I tried to get refund and after 4 days they are refusing to give me one. I had to ask twice for my ID back. There were not one but two cars in the parking lot that it was more then evident that someone was living in them. There were two broken windows that had plywood over them. I understand maybe I should of done more research but I would of never guessed that this would be the experience from a...
Read moreWe were traveling in from out of state for a wedding in the Northwood area, and chose this hotel on the basis of it's location and their NON smoking rooms. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the evening, and couldn't go elsewhere after traveling for hours to get there. The hotel lobby was unkept, but not filthy. There were very few cars in the lot, and we were assigned room 276. The smell in the room was heavy of cigarettes and urine. My husband is lucky he has no sense of smell, and was able to sleep no problem, but kept all his clothes on, out of concern for the cleanliness of the bedding. There were stains on the drapes, the baseboard all along one side of the room was removed from the wall, and just hanging off, with drywall and a hole in the wall exposed. The shower curtain was filthy with stains, and was long overdue for a cleaning. There was a white stain across the vanity in the bathroom. My brain focused on the disgusting smell and I hardly slept, despite being very tired. It was a disaster. My rental car would have been a better option for me to sleep. I requested a refund when we left early the next morning for the upcoming night, but they have refused to respond to Booking.com by...
