I rented from this company 2 times for my birthday. Both awful experiences. I decided to give them anither try, but this last time was the icing on the cake for me. Save your money, this company doesnt provide the services they advertise
Ill start with the positives. They were very responsive to my constant calls, but staff offered no solutions. The first time I rented we had problems with the AC, no fridge, and no internet the first day. I gave them another chance and last month when I tried them again it was like deja vu. We noticed the fridge right off the bat didnt work. Im convinced you dont get a fridge when you rent these houses. The AC was clogged and so they had someone come and fix it, but it still didnt work and the first night I had to empty the drainline myself and pump the excess water at 3am… Super fun. The fridge actually never worked throughout our entire stay and we had maintenance come multiple days and never fix it. Great for the hundreds of dollars of perishable groceries we bought, which they did end of refunding which was nice. Other than that, the house was falling apart and it couldnt have been more than 2 months old. Cabinet doors fell off, couch legs broke, the sprinkler system out back exploded and was just spraying water all over the patio 😂. They give you the bare minimum for accomodating 14 people. We had to make do with the 1 pan for all our cooking, and 1 paper towell roll. Wish they would have let us know. I also found it odd that there was no oven mitt, soo you know basically its near impossible to cook. They dont even have salt and pepper. Personally I think the way management handled the no fridge and AC situation is terrible and I told them that. They basically said they dont care and they dont think having a fridge is a prioritized amenity worthy of complaints, even though they listed a working fridge in their listing.They proceeded to tell me that my experience is abnormal and all units have working fridges, but I have only used this company twice, and both times had the same exact issues.

Negative feedback: First RED Flag, the false advertisement we booked a 6-bedroom 6 bathroom. The place had 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Second RED flag: We booked this vacation home for five days, On the first day we were unable to stay at the property due to the lack of an unpleasant appearance. The kitchen had lights falling out of the roof, there was mold on the furniture, mold on the grill area, and there was broken glass on the popcorn machine that could have caused deep lacerations that could have harmed my family. There was pet hair and urine on the carpets, there was broken furniture, broken blinds, and dirty walls. The welcome email stated to report any form of damage by photo within 2-4 hours of checking in, and that was what we had done. Several members of my family have been diagnosed with Asthma, and I refused to have them sleep in a moldy environment. The quality assurance manager Angie DE LA Cruz arrived at the location after my family, and I left the property due to the unsafety. This was at 10 p.m., stating the property was safe to stay. Knowing well, she wouldn’t have put her family in an unsafe environment, stating that there was no emergency. We demanded a full refund since IHM Vacation did not follow through on their part of the contract, which was to provide a beautiful, clean, safe home that was presented to us online. Due to the filthy and unsafe environment. Angie De La Cruz sends her cleaning and maintenance staff to deep clean and fix everything that was sent to Herbert via emails with 80-100 photos. Then Angie lied on top of it and said she spoke to the owner, and they stated that they wouldn’t refund our money. I don’t think Angie would have reached out to the owner if she had enough proof to forfeit their contract with IHM Vacations.

Read moreHorrible 1st experience staying at an Air BnB. The house itself was beautiful (which is why we chose it from the Air BnB website). The maintenance of it on the other hand was HORRIBLE. This management company does not care about the guests and it's clear all they are concerned with is getting paid. Upon check-in, we noticed ant piles, dirty table in the living room and shower with dried on suds from the previous guests (pictured below). I immediately contacted Insight Management but since it was after 7pm was only able to speak to the after hours person who informed me that she would note this as an urgent matter and have maintenance and housekeeping there first thing the next morning. They never came the next day and in fact didn't come to resolve anything until the 3rd day! Meanwhile, we were noticing many other issues with the house that I added on to the initial list of things to fix. One of the stove burners was broken, the lights in the kitchen didn't work, the outside light was burnt out, there were filthy cushions outside by the pool (picture attached), sticky floors in the dining/kitchen area (floors in kitchen/dining area and bathrooms did not look like they had been cleaned at all) and cobwebs on the dining room chandelier. When they finally showed up on the 3rd day of our stay, the only issues they fixed were: cleaned ant piles, bathroom wall of suds & red substance on the table was cleaned. In addition, the management company kept telling me they were busy and trying to address other properties. One of the days (when we were at a theme park) I stayed on hold for more than 30 minutes when I called to get the status on the many issues with our home. Realizing that it was getting close to closing time for the office, I called back and was placed BACK on hold until after business hours were over and no one talked to me.
