We have been to this resort at least 9 times. 7 times this resort was amazing so we had high expectations for our 7 day stay.|Five stars for the Blossoms bar - the staff was fantastic - friendly, helpful and fast. If you aren’t up for going out, the Blossoms menu is adaptable for GF sensitivities and food is very good. |Pool Music was not relaxing it was loud fast paced dance music ALL day - However, when we mentioned it, it was toned down and some and the selections changed.|The pool was filthy - many, many leaves in the water ...all week. |The waterfall was often off and the water level was below the intake vents so there was no way the water could be filtered. |A family we were chatting with said they called. We called about it ourselves the next day. Three days in and the water level was still too low to filter water. Friday the same. Then we called to ask if water was tested and were told 1X/day; miraculously that night, the water level rose enough to be filtered. |Could the ridiculously high points vacation club owners pay for end of week stays be a factor in the improvement at the end of the week? Unsure|Groups of employees do not speak English. When approached, they sometimes ignore there is a customer there and continue speaking to each other in their language, laughing etc.. then abruptly stop, turn and look at the customer. |This is not isolated and not personal.|Some grounds workers are not considerate; a few guests hope to sleep past 8am on the weekend. Loud talking, podcasts, radio etc wake up the people they are serving.|Bathroom vanities are still the right height for people 6' or taller. Our room was updated but after a decade the walls are still void of mirrors,...

Stayed here in August 2020. We had two corner rooms in the Palermo building. Our room was extremely quiet and even when a group was jamming some tunes by the BBQ, we couldn't hear any of it inside our rooms. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated that they had recycling bins next to the trash bin in the kitchen. We didn't find the living room furniture to be very comfortable, but the dining room and outdoor seating was fine. The gym was very nice and even included a water rower. (Thanks for thinking of rowers, Marriott!) The lazy river pool was somewhat busy on the weekend, but quiet during the week. We frequently took advantage of the ping pong table by the pool and saw people playing large-scale chess, connect 4 and other poolside games, which was really nice. If I could make one recommendation it would be to get new ping pong paddles, but that is nitpicking. The Lava Flow drink at Blossom is delicious and we loved having access to the JW Marriott's and Ritz Carlton. Our poolside lunch at Blue was absolutely incredible! While using the water slides at Lakeshore Reserve, my husband witnessed a discussion where a father was upset because his son, who had special needs, wasn't tall enough for the slides and the lifeguards wouldn't let him go on the slide. I'm glad that Marriott refused to let the boy ride the slides because he was clearly not tall enough and while I'm sure he loves water, if he had gotten hurt, the father could have sued Marriott for not enforcing the height requirement. Kudos to Marriott for enforcing guest safety. Oh, one thing about the slides, they are, as a Mainer might say, wicked fast when there's an overcast or the...

Terrriblestttt experience Ever!!. Only good thing was meeting Brittany at concierge. The staff is not skilled or trained to have that talent to deal with People at all. First night my mattress was wet and smelled of urine and I laid in it unaware because bed was full made over it. 1am they send a luggage cart and man to my room to just sit there and watch me struggle to load up my things then push cart to my car to direct me to the new room from a distance. I get to new room and guy is no where to be found so I had to try to unload IN THE DARK PARKING LOTS I almost was ran up on by a possum I was all in my rob and pj's while doing all this. I got no sleep, in morning I called front desk and I missed call so walked down there and he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but claim they sent 3 guys up there and they felt nothing and seen no stain or anything like I made this all up. I never been so disappointed and annoyed 😒 Then I requested day 1 for late check out since they booked me for a presentation @ 1:45pm and you'd think they would accommodate that. "NOPE" they looked at me crazy and said well here's a card to just walk around the premises for 3 hrs and look lost outside. The whole entire trip wasn't a vacation at all it was a NIGHTMARE and I just lost $400 😞 in the long run. Never again will I be back BEDBUGS are real and they practice unsanitary procedures. Thiago is the cold hearted un-empathetic guest service monster-ger who is going to drown the whole Value of Marriott. When you see Rose C. MIsselnor cleaned your room then you should "RUNNNNN" before it's too late!!!!!!I'm...

We had a wonderful stay. Love the renovated rooms at this property. Very light, bright and airy. Plenty of charging areas and outlets. The staff here is very accommodating and always willing to help. Henry at the front desk, the ladies at The Marketplace and the guys at the bar were all very friendly and helpful. We had a particularly excellent experience with Edwin from maintenance/engineering. He truly went above and beyond helping us. The Lazy River is wonderful. The water temperature was perfect…almost felt like it was slightly heated. Be prepared to purchase a floatie if you don’t already have one. They sell them in the Marketplace for about $25 and will blow them up for free with their electric inflator. The food was very good. We especially loved the breakfast sandwiches at The Marketplace and the Bowls at Blossoms. We wish they offered a wider variety of beers at both places. Sounds like that is out of the hands of the bartenders and more the responsibility of whoever does the purchasing. Only other suggestions we can make are to have music playing by the pool all the time and to ensure that the outdoor path lighting on the path around the lake is in working order. It was very dark at night going to and from the pool so we had to use a flashlight. Cannot wait to hopefully return next year.

We’ve stayed all over Orlando and even stayed at the Ritz Carlton Grand Lakes a few Christmases ago. Nothing compares to this resort. It’s the nicest, best rooms in Orlando. We’ve stayed at the Marriott Cypress, Sheraton Vistana, Hilton Grand Vacations and nothing compares to this resort. We stayed in a two bedroom townhouse with more than enough room for our family of four. The resort is very intimate and quiet. The walls are thick and though we could see people walking by, we didn’t hear a thing. The pool is SO warm, much warmer than the JW Marriott so we didn’t even use theirs. The hot tubs are great. Guests and staff were masked and it felt very safe despite the pandemic. The outdoor exercise classes were led by a great teacher, we really enjoyed the Stretch class. The location is convenient, it’s just first class all the way. I almost don’t want to share this because it’s hard enough to book rooms now. It was the perfect stay from staff to accommodations.
