Knife Burger — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

Poolside service is a nice environment. We sat 10ft from the bar. A server came to us and took our initial drink order and we received those. We asked her to come back in a bit for food orders and that was the last we saw of her. Again, we were 10ft from the bar, so it is completely strange to not physically see your server anywhere for 40 minutes. What was she doing? You'd have to appear at the bar at some point if you were serving anyone at all, but we could not find her doing anything anywhere. Eventually we sent part of our group to find seats at another bar on premise and we waited another 10 minutes just to physically see her long enough to close the check. The food wasn’t very good (Brisket nachos especially) & the flies were everywhere. 2 of the 3 dinner entrees were incorrect & had to be re-made. The server forgot to bring requested condiments the entire meal. Flies were all over our food the entire time & the server stated that the flies love the Brisket Nachos with a grin, as he was removing our plates. That would have been great to know before ordering b/c we wouldn’t have ordered them, nor wasted our money on them. You’d think that they’d invest in fly deterrents for the tables, as everyone ordering food was swatting away flies. Ordered a well done, single patty cheese burger to-go back to my room. Immediately noticed shape of burger was preformed and frozen. Lacked flavor and two onion slices were so thin they might as well have not been included. Burger was undercooked so I only ate around the very edges. Would not recommend a burger- from Knife Burger!
