Yosemite West Cottages — Hotel in Oakhurst

Stayed Oct 2016. Cute log home from outside, but extremely dated and grungy on the inside. It is located about 20 minutes from the Valley. It was tolerable until we were attacked by bed bugs! Actually tons of bed bugs - over 70 bites. Contacted Yosemite West and they never got back to me so who knows if they've called the exterminator. I would think twice before staying here. Ok so once again I’ll rate it a little differently 5 on location. The closest you will get other then staying at an official hotel. 1 on everything else. The condition was dirty old run down. Reminded me of an old apartment in the 90s. The media was awful. That could be good or bad for different groups. Really small and cramped for a family of six. My honest opinion...

We had a very nice trip around California. But this accomodation was really not what we looked for. The beds are very well used, the aircon van from the apartment below was noisy and the apartment old style, the barbeque grill not usable before a 15 min cleaning etc. All in all, it depends what you are looking for.
