We had a wonderful time here! We were 4 people in the private apartment, but really, it could very comfortably house at least 6. The apartment was beautiful, cozy, and very well equipped with everything we could need, or had forgotten to pack, including jackets, torches, flasks, etc. We were also able to cook dinner every night in a very nice kitchen that was also well stocked with all the utensils and appliances we needed. Our host, Karen was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. She has lots of insider tips about the best places to go, and hacks for getting there easier/faster, or harder if that is what you're into -- you can pretty much follow her advice blindly and you will have a great time. The apartment is very close to most of the major destinations inside the park, but I would recommend starting early. We were heading out about 30m before sunrise every morning, and hitting all the spots we wanted before the crowds came in. Surprise bonus: the apartment balcony has one of the best sunset views.

We really enjoyed our stay here for my husband’s birthday week. I love that we can enjoy the stars and sunset on the deck. I wouldn’t know what to do much without Ali’s and Karen’s recommendation for this Yosemite trip. The location is very convenient where it’s not too far from the gas station, park entrance/exit and to Yosemite Valley. The drive to Tuolumne Meadows is not that bad either. It’s really worth the drive out. You should definitely bring your own bike if you can. It is safe to leave it out on your car bike rack locked overnight here at the B&B. It’s really beautiful and safe. I’d love to come back again. Thank you Karen and Ali for the warm hospitality.

My wife and I stayed at Yosemite West High Sierra B&B for four nights and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Karen, the owner, welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we affectionately started calling her “Mom.” She truly took care of us like family.||We stayed in the first room, and let me just say, the bed was incredibly comfortable. After long days exploring Yosemite, sinking into that bed was heaven after long days on the trails. What really set this place apart, though, was Karen herself. She spent hours with us going over detailed maps of Yosemite, offering insider tips. She even loaned us the maps, which made all the difference in how we planned our days. Thanks to her, we made the most of every moment in the park.||And I should mention the breakfasts. They were huge, hearty, and absolutely delicious! We didn’t need to eat again until dinner. It really helped us get the most out of our days without worrying about food. And finishing up on the deck watching the sunsets was the perfect ending to each day.||All in all, this was hands down one of the best places we have ever stayed. If you are visiting Yosemite, staying here will feel like coming home, with great breakfasts and a national park in your...

Our host Karen was Sensational!! |An extremely knowledgeable local guide whose experience provided vast information and tips for amazing dining experiences, outings, and adventures. |This information including a stunning place to propose to my fiancée. (She said Yes)||Karen's hot delicious breakfasts were comfort food at its best, including Dutch baby pancakes, frittata, and hot coffee. |We enjoyed many delightful conversations and breakfasts with Karen during our stay.||The accommodations were comfortable and the setting was serene. Our suite provided a king bed and ensuite bathroom. There was an additional twin bed in the space if you needed it. The room was cozy and well appointed. The bed was solid and the mattress plush. Restful slumber awaits.||The location of the property provides a stunning sunset view from the third floor deck. This also served as a nice quiet sanctuary for our morning coffee.||This property is minutes from the Tunnel View entrance at Yosemite and closer still to Glacier Point Road. It allows easy access to Yosemite Valley, El Portal, Mariposa Grove, and Oakhurst. ||We will definitely be back. What a treat!|Thank you Karen for being such a...
