My wife and I stayed at Yosemite West High Sierra B&B for four nights and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Karen, the owner, welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we affectionately started calling her “Mom.” She truly took care of us like family.||We stayed in the first room, and let me just say, the bed was incredibly comfortable. After long days exploring Yosemite, sinking into that bed was heaven after long days on the trails. What really set this place apart, though, was Karen herself. She spent hours with us going over detailed maps of Yosemite, offering insider tips. She even loaned us the maps, which made all the difference in how we planned our days. Thanks to her, we made the most of every moment in the park.||And I should mention the breakfasts. They were huge, hearty, and absolutely delicious! We didn’t need to eat again until dinner. It really helped us get the most out of our days without worrying about food. And finishing up on the deck watching the sunsets was the perfect ending to each day.||All in all, this was hands down one of the best places we have ever stayed. If you are visiting Yosemite, staying here will feel like coming home, with great breakfasts and a national park in your...

Read moreWe had a wonderful time here! We were 4 people in the private apartment, but really, it could very comfortably house at least 6. The apartment was beautiful, cozy, and very well equipped with everything we could need, or had forgotten to pack, including jackets, torches, flasks, etc. We were also able to cook dinner every night in a very nice kitchen that was also well stocked with all the utensils and appliances we needed. Our host, Karen was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. She has lots of insider tips about the best places to go, and hacks for getting there easier/faster, or harder if that is what you're into -- you can pretty much follow her advice blindly and you will have a great time. The apartment is very close to most of the major destinations inside the park, but I would recommend starting early. We were heading out about 30m before sunrise every morning, and hitting all the spots we wanted before the crowds came in. Surprise bonus: the apartment balcony has one of the best...
