Hospitality at its finest! I took a flight here due to my momma going into the ICU. I ended up staying here for 40 nights. It was the closest hotel to the hospital and I could be there within 15 mins if needed. I arrived without my family. During my time here, at one point, the staff became aware of my momma in the ICU and that I was leaving early in the mornings and arriving late at nights. The accommodations made for me were so helpful. Getting me a water, yogurt, or bowl of cereal in the wee hours knowing that I wouldn’t be here for breakfast saved me money from the vending machines. When I needed extra towels, new blankets, anything, the staff was so nice and was very helpful, and with a smile. Sean and Nate worked the late nights and often seen us coming in. My family ended up going back home as my momma started to get better so it was just me again. Almost daily, they asked how my momma was doing! When momma passed away, the staff were here hugging me, crying with me, showing sympathy and really going out of their way for our family. One night while I was up late, around 1am, writing a eulogy, I couldn’t help but sob. Lindsay noticed this came over, sat behind me, and just hugged me. Mrs. Tammy, while making our beds, helped me create a playlist for momma’s memorial video. My family arrived back down for the funeral. Precious and Armoni loved on my kiddo and kept him company. Often times, Harley, Lindsay, Astrid, and Madison took care of us. Madison went out of her way to walk to the store across the parking lot to bless me with a flavored water that the hotel was out of. I later found out that she spent her own money! Harley came up to the room around 2am to change out shampoo & conditioner bottles for me. Ms. Iroda and Leanetta cried with me and gave me big hugs. They made sure that I had bagged towels for when my family arrived waiting at our door without even asking. I had the chance to meet Aaron, the GM, to let him know that his staff really was so helpful during this stay. It was a pleasure speaking with him. He has definitely created a culture of family-oriented staff, that work well together as a team! The staff at this hotel is an asset to Hilton Properties. and I want the “big” people to know how helpful and kind they were to me and my family. Please express our appreciation...
Read moreFirst off i would like to point out we are hilton gold honor members.. we used our built up points for this trip!! Husband's Birthday!! -(Never was acknowledged) we have stayed in an array of hilton's in multiple states..we have had some wonderful experiences and very few bads ones..This particular experience was undoubtedly the worst!! As we arrive we notice first off this is not the same hotel as advertised!!..the photo and the actual hotel isnt the same..false advertising at its finest!!..a 4 star hotel @ $150 a nite!..😡 truly disappointing.i would give them a 2 at the most...as we used built up hilton honor points for this stay ..so we expect a certain greeting and service!! We were not offered our complimentary snacks and waters!..front desk guy was cool but the woman the next morning wasnt so kind..as we proceed to our room 315..we open door and we are greeted by a horrible smell..like a cat family have stayed here before us!!..pool was obscene..green and gros..no lounge chairs..towels must have been limited as we asked for our second nite towels in the afternoon after being at the beach all day i had to wait the front desk woman said they werent washed yet she would send someone..never did..asked maid on our floor for some and she kindly handed them to my husband..second morning we chose in house breakfast..omelets were delich but potatoes..umm not sure..seemed citrus flavored..not good!!.and we were inside the elevator in route to be stopped by the orderly with cart filled with all the dirty towels and garbage ..i refused..he had to wait..the only positive is that they are located a small distance to the Biloxi strip!..my points were wasted to a place that should have never been on my honors list for choices..truly disappointing for my husbands birthday staycation...absolutely would never stay here...
Read moreShort version: We prepaid for a room so we could arrive late. When we showed up at 10pm at night, our room had been given away with no record of a reservation (we still have confirmation emails), there were no other rooms available, and most importantly - management won't return emails or calls and denies it ever happened. Corporate Hilton also is looking for answers but is getting no cooperation from this property.
Long version: We booked this hotel and prepaid for late arrival. After a long day of traveling, we arrived at 10pm. When we got to the front desk - no reservation and it was a busy weekend so there were no other rooms in this hotel or several others. As Hilton Honors members, we contacted the national office and they found out someone on this hotel staff had cancelled our reservation earlier that day. I spent three days contacting the hotel trying to find out exactly what happened, talked to three different managers (who all claimed they would call me back with an answer) and still no response about this (and STILL no response). The desk staff that evening could have cared less about our situation. The manager on duty sign had a name but that manager 'on duty' only works during the week and cannot be contacted. Once we were back home I contacted her but she has yet to give me answers to my questions or will respond to voicemails or attempts by email. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this particular Hampton Inn though I almost always stay exclusively at Hampton Inns (and never had anything remotely close to this...
