Terrible customer service The room looks phenomenal the glowing lights were neat not as cool as in their picture though Fist thing out the gate the drain in the bathroom floats with grey water and in an effort to not ruin my wife and eyes night I told them about it and told them that I would tolerate it because it was not flooding into the bathroom yet they informed me that the room is always booked out and they don’t have time to take care of these issues The bathtub and Jets were awesome they worked pretty well just don’t fill the bathtub up to high now the TV only has antenna as an option and all but seven channels come through like the one I have shown took me back to the early 90s whenever I ask them about that they told me I would need to figure it out because no one else’s TV doesn’t work so being an intelligent person and after an hour and a half of falling with it I finally got the TV to allow me access to my prime account while watching a movie it would pause every five minutes in order to buffer after I let it buffer for about 10 minutes they gave me about 15 and then crashed the wife and I gave up The next morning we woke up a little late I called to ask if you have a little late of a check out they told me it would be $40 I explain to them all I was trying to do was have a little extra time to clean my room up to not do them a disservice and they told me I had eight minutes to get out of my room or they will call the police*I said after all the things that were wrong with this room you won’t give me 10 minutes to clean up my trash OK and that’s what they got if you’re going on a date night and don’t care about water possibly flooding into the bathroom at your feet or having a TV that works those place is perfect for you but if you have basic accommodations That you need then I would suggest going anywhere else for the same price if not less you can go to the Biltmore and have a lot better experience at least their customer service people understand things happen and would prefer you to clean up after yourself to minimize the turnaround time for the room but that’s just basic customer service
Edit* nothing in this post is inaccurate yes I did wake up late. again I never said I wasn't late all I asked for was an extra 10 min to clean up my trash since it’s the polite and courteous thing to do and I was told I was threatening the staff so I left the room full of trash as requested...
Read moreThe staff was extremely nice. The rooms as they are shown on the hotels.com website, are not (and I cannot stress this enough, NOT) what you see in person. There was no ambient black lighting around the headboard. Yes we chose a smoking room because there's no way I would be caught dead or maybe that's the only way I would be caught smoking outside at that property. The deadbolt did not lock to the room the keys hardly opened the door and when you are trying to carry your belongings in and your hands are full it makes it extremely inconvenient to have to put everything down and fidget with the door lock for 5 or 10 minutes go back get another key come back fidget with that one for another 5 minutes before it finally lets you in. Air conditioner did not function very well so the room was warm and the only good thing about the room really was the bathroom. It was like they started a renovation and got as far as the bathroom and then just stopped and the rest remained in 1986. The smoking rooms are to the rear of the property so you have to park out front then use your access card to go through a door down a hallway out the other side of that building and then walk around the other side of another building to get to the room they have that side of the property fenced off and on the opposite side of the fence our parking spaces but no gate to get through so you have to absolutely go the long way around. Read moreI booked the room late afternoon. We were riding our bikes and I hate driving at night. Told them we were in bikes hauling a trailer and wanted to know if there was a place we could park to keep a eye on them. They said certainly. It started raining and as we pulled into their lot, they came out to help us park. A tornado was in the area, and they were so glad we made it safely. They said they were quite worried because I told them about when we would be there and we were late. ( The weather of course) the manager said he would move his bike to make sure our bikes were completely out of the weather. He also ran over and opened our room up to minimize the time we were out in the rain. He said we could officially check in when the weather calmed down. He even called us when the sirens went off and told us were the tornado was and said he would keep us informed and call with further news. The hotel doesn't look like much from the road but the rooms are fresh and clean. It's been remodeled. We even had a basket with cookies, chips, water and Sunny D sitting on our bed. It was complimentary. These people are fabulous!!! The hotel bed was cozy and the water was warm. It has flat screen tvs as well. The price was amazing as well! We definitely will stay here again when traveling through OKC. UPDATE: On our way back home we decided to stay again. Was just as fabulous as it was the first time!!!!
