While visiting my brother in OKC, we stopped in for lunch. It wasn't crowded, but there were 2-3 tables with customers. We were promptly seated and given chips & salsa, but that's where the fast service ended.

Our drink orders were taken and brought back to us about 10 mins later. Our food order wasn't taken for about another 20-25 minutes. More customers entered and were seated, so perhaps they were not accustomed to a large lunch crowd.

After our food order was placed, it took another 20-25 minutes to get our food. 😳 Our server did her best to keep us at our table and would tell us she was checking on our order frequently, but that was a long time from being seated to eating.

Once the food arrived, it was not worth the wait. The most flavorful item on my plate was the grilled pineapple. 🍍

Unfortunately, no one in my party was impressed with their meal. Not the worst, but not good enough for...

Un restaurante un poco diferente no lo que esperamos pero buen ante todo no son muy tradicionales y llenos de sabor pero era de esperarse de un pueblo tan pequeñito,la mesera muy alegre y bien servicio rápido y cómida caliente

“Is not really traditional food but was okay”

It was a decent experience. The restaurant is in a small house with most of the seating (wooden benches and tables) on the outside in the front yard. The server was very courteous and service was quick.

Overall the food was great. Served hot, plates were clean. In the enchiladas I would say please go a bit lower on the leamon(sourness) factor. Quantity for the price was great. Salsas seemed home made from scratch. I would recommend this place and would visit here again. ...

First, the prices are not near as bad as the reviews make them out to be. The lunch specials are priced beyond fairly. Second, the service we had today was fantastic! The owner waited on us and was extremely pleasant. The pastor tacos had a slightly different flavor than I am used to, but they were absolutely DELICIOUS. I got a water and three pastor tacos for right around $4.50. They even have taco tuesdays where all tacos are only 1$. There are some more expensive items like the carne asada, but that is to be expected at any restaurant. Steak is always more expensive. Also, the carne asada, in my opinion, is easily worth the extra money! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will be...

This GEM is the BEST ORIGINAL MEXICAN FOOD IN OKC & IF YOU WANT FRESH MADE TORTILLAS this is the Place, they will make your food fresh as you order & can make it the way you want. I LOVE THIS PLACE and EVERYONE that I talk to in there were SO HAPPY with THEIR FOOD The ATMOSPHERE is REALLY GREAT the EMPLOYEES were REALLY NICE and ATTENTIVE to your NEEDS SO if you WANT to EAT REAL MEXICAN FOOD FROM A FAMILY OWN RESTAURANT THIS HIDDEN GEM IS IT.

Happy to have found this place. Salsa is good with a little heat. The chips have a good crunch. They did give me a cheese dip. It reminded me of a nacho type cheese. Got the Pozole. It came with lime slices, onions cilantro mix, and cabbage. The corn tortillas definitely made here. The pozole came out hot. It was delicious!! Will be coming back and trying something different!!
