I will give credit where its due. Clean facility, working elevators, pool is open and the breakfast is grab and go. The morning staff lady with the dark hair is really nice. We stayed there from November 1st to the 6th due to our power being out. The customer service was TOP knotch.. until...I was treated with the UPMOST disrespect from your guest representative. Mike is SUPER rude and the tone that he gave me when I called the front desk to answer my question was unnecessary. I used choice privileges' to stay here. I'm pretty sure I could have paid for a shit room & would have had SUPERIOR service. Replace Mike or have him do some additional customer service training on how to talk to guests. I had to make an additional reservation and I had a credit card authorization filled out from the 3rd to the 7th. I had a verbal agreement with the front desk rep when she asked "Do you want the reservation booked for the dates written?" I Said: YES. She says she cant print out a slip for me to sign but will have one available when I got off of work to sign. She let my husband sign it! He has no idea because I'm handling our stay. The 6th rolls around and we get a check out notice and panic so I use reward points to stay another night. I call the hotel to ask if i could use the authorization since it was until the 7th so I could call Choice hotels to refund points- if possible. He tells me that there was no way they would book without authorization for the dates specified. Then kept telling me I know the answer to my own question. Not only did he shrug off the fact that a mistake was on their end and rather than take ownership of it- he blamed the whole thing on me and told me to email the district manager. I'm sure I'm not the first he has been rude to. I took a few days to calm down to write this. I also cant let one bad apple ruin the experience we had. We loved our room. They took care of us with a suite and we are thankful we were able to stay in a nice place for my 8 month old who is dependent on a feeding tube. Another note- Seems like just your night staff is rude. you have to hold your key to the front door and my card wasn't working so i pressed the call button and the guy was telling me to hold it there for more than 5 seconds. I leave it pressed there to show it wasn't working. He lets me in and acts like i'm the burden that he has to reactivate it. To make matters worse, I get up the the 4th floor only to find it not working. So I go back down to have him fix it. Semi-good experience but my family and I won't be back- Just...
Read moreFrom the moment we booked this hotel we had issues. I booked on Choice.com and selected to pay at arrival. The hotel tried to charge our card that morning and because our debit card was locked it canceled our reservation. We called and Brittney said she would do her best to keep our hotel room for us. 5 hours later we arrive and secured our room with a Visa card for the amount of $482.55. We get to the room and the bathroom does not work, we go to the desk and Sabrina gives us a plunger to fix the toilet as maintenance is not in. After we are unable to fix they finally move us to another room. In the meantime, our bank is notifying us that the hotel is still charging our card. In total there was over 3,000 in charges pending. The manager said he would cancel all the transactions as he couldn’t figure out what was going on. This did not change the fact that there was still all this money “pending “ and we have no access to it. The manager Callie then comes to our room at 10 o’clock pm on June 17 and tells us if we don’t pay for our room they will ask us to leave. At this point I’m beyond pissed, but my husband goes down stairs and once again makes a payment of $200 in cash and another $293.55 on our card. They general manager Caleb then comes out and tells us because we yelled at his staff he’s asking us to vacate the property. So now we’re 5 hours from home, we have our children with us, and they have thousands of dollars tied up in their system. They manager comes upstairs and holds our door open and tells us she is staying there until we leave. So has my kids are screaming and crying because they think their mom and dad are going to jail we pack up our room to leave. Once downstairs I told them I refused to leave until they refund my card. The general manager Caleb then tells me that if I don’t get out of his hotel he will physically remove me. At that point we left, I didn’t want my husband and this man getting into a physical altercation when none of this was our fault. We were made to feel like we were broke and could not afford to be there, when due to their negligence or back account was drained with pending charges. This was the absolute worst hotel experience...
