The first trip since covid. We did frequent hotels monthly prior. We are very familiar with Hilton and are members. Hilton hotels represent some of our favorite hotels to stay in. This one was lacking and our least favorite. The bathroom has a slider barn style door. There is a gap around all sides as great as 1". There is no fan, so anyone having to take a #2 will populate the room with odor. Can confirm! The wing back chair was ripped and we reported it. There was hair on the wing chair and the pillows. No zip covers on the pillows, as a result they were dingy. The pillows go flat and are extremely uncomfortable to sleep on unless you use all of them at once and stack them. The beds were okay and good for one or two nights rest. The temperature in the room we finicky. We were either hot, or cold. Never really comfortable. There was no extra linen in our room. We tried to get one until 3 am and were unable too. We were told the hotel was full and that was the reason why? My wife and I ended up going to bed around 3 am and slept with only a sheet. We told the staff that this was our dilemma, but they were unable to accommodate. We had 3 beds, but only enough blankets for 2. The fridge had no freezer. The microwave was a very small version and couldn't hold a large plate. Mostly drinks, or small items could be heated in it. Think lunch able size. No towels at the pool area either day we were there. The lady that was in the pool area before us said she called the front desk 4 times. She and her family ended up walking back to their room dripping wet. We did see the front desk staff drying the floors with a towel when we went back to our room. Any stores or food are a ten minute drive away. Lots of construction in the area, so it made travel slightly more difficult. Using GPS it actually had us do a u-turn right near an on ramp for I-5. The hotel has food and drinks available. We didn't purchase any because it seems priced slightly higher than we are comfortable with. So, we drove to local businesses to make purchases. House keeping lightly knocked and entered our room the following morning. It took her about 5 seconds to knock and enter. I was sleeping in the bed closes to the door and couldn't get to the door before she poked her head in. She said "sorry" and shut the door. It was 9:55 am. We had been up all night looking for linens, so we were not pleased with the early morning wake up. We did stay up at that point though. The hotel is only 6 years old. We do have faith that through honest reviews with actionable items. That this hotel with some work can be one of the Hilton's better hotels. The design, layout and decor of the hotel are amazing, but the amenities, pool, bathroom, heating, house keeping, bedding/linens and services...
Read moreWe’ve been in the middle of a PCS (permanent change of station in the army) move from NC to WA and have been staying exclusively in Hilton hotels across the country since February 24th. We’ve stayed in embassy suits, Hampton inns, and garden inns, in NC, TN, KS, WY, UT, OR, and WA. This hotel was by far the worst both comparatively and due to our personal experience on their property with injury and a staff who made no attempt to assist. Unlike all the other named hotels across the other states you have to pay for the breakfast and it’s the same. Exact. Food. It made no sense. The beds were hard as a rock, house keeping came to pick up used towels and wouldn’t leave new ones, and one day didn’t take trash for some reason but clearly came in the room. We have a family of seven and no towels is a big deal as well as the tiny trash cans not being cleaned out. The bathrooms DO NOT lock which isn’t advertised so being there with our two rooms and five children meant the toddler was breaking boundaries with opening closed doors while girls/boys tried to change but worst of all the doors didn’t close all the way which means anyone trying to use the restroom for any reason has to do it with the door essentially open…. Staff said they’d send maintenance to at least look at that and fix it and “would get back with us”. They not only didn’t get back with us but that evening my wife went to close the door while I showered and the door flew off the railing and smashed her finger between the heavy door and the wall. It tore the skin off her finger and bruised it pretty had and she’s had to wrap it ever since. I attempted to communicate with the hotel staff about it on the app and they ignored it and never addressed it. I put the door back in the railing myself and tried it out and it flew backwards off the railing and crashed into the room. Again, the staff ignored my messages and attempts to communicate and it went unresolved. Between the poor accommodations, poor staff and management, overpriced basic hotel food, and the injury aspect I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Hilton has far better hotels then a garden inn and even the Hampton inn in Lacey blew this place out of the water (not to mention the one in the middle of no where WY). ||Pick another hotel. This...
Read moreI stayed here for 2 days while attending a work conference. The hotel is, no doubt, beautiful and newly renovated (or built). The lobby is very relaxing and there are a ton of seating options, as well as outlets for laptops, etc., and a water and coffee station set up. They have an on-site restaurant and room service, which is very convenient. The hotel room itself was gorgeous and modern. That being said, I had some issues during my stay. The check in process was a bit daunting and the front desk staff was not very friendly. The room that I was staying in, while gorgeous, was not very comfortable. The bed really hurt my back and the pillows sunk down flat as soon as I used them (even with stacking three of them on top of each other). My co-worker has the same complaint, as well. Another issue I encountered, and probably the most bothersome to me, was the lack of water pressure in the shower. It was so weak, it wouldn’t even rinse the shave gel off of my razor! I should add though, that my co-worker, who was on the floor above mine, told me his water pressure was fine. So maybe just a fluke? Or unique to the second floor? Another huge issue I encountered were loud children - screaming, banging on things, jumping off of the bed onto the floor above me, and knocking on doors and screaming in the hallways. Not one staff member addressed this issue. I am a mom myself and understand that children can be loud and hyped up at times, but this was just insane. This was going on from 7 am until at least 10 pm at night. Lastly, and the most minor issue, was that the hotel wouldn’t even give us pens or a notepad for our work conference. I have been on several business trips before and have always been provided with these by the hotels we...
