Royal Inn — Hotel in Oneida

The Google reviews of the Royal Inn pretty accurately capture the experience. It's a very basic motel with clean rooms and a worn out exterior. The parking lots is badly torn up and there is an abandoned ( filled in) pool. A mismatched assortment of chairs sit outside of the rooms. ||The rooms have been refurbished in the past few years. But the bathrooms still looks mostly original with colored tile flooring and tub. Even with the reburshiment, our room had water damage from a leak in the ceiling and a damaged bathroom door that would not stay closed. The beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. The blanket was a bit thin for chilly winter nights and an extra blanket would have been nice.||There is a language barrier with the manager (owner?). He was friendly but when we had an issue it was hard to communicate and work through it. ||Overall, you get what you pay for and there are few options in the area. It was clean, and suitable for our brief stay. In the future, I'd probably choose to stay somewhere further from Oneida...

The location of the place is a pretty decent because there is a Walmart close by in a McDonald's and other food restaurants The bed was horrible the linigs was dirty the room had no TV the one that was in it was broken and it was an old style box TV the room had no Wi-Fi upon entering the room it was dirty I asked for towels and the owner was a jerk never again will I rent from here because everything that it says you will get as an amenity you do not . Blood was on the sheets. And he refused to give clean ones . Horrible horrible horrible waste of money. I had to go and purchase mean green just the rinse my shower out because this place is so filthy so so filthy. They did not have my room ready when I first arrived at first they said they didn't even have my room ready or available and after sitting in the parking lot for 3 hours we was given the dirtiest room around. The refrigerator didn't work but the freezer part did barely microwave did...
