Orange Tustin Inn — Hotel in Orange

They dont even deserve the 1 star!! We checked in to only find that our beds were doubles not queens so we went to inquire about that, he stated no queens were available but that's what we booked for(on their webpage it says they only have double queen beds not double doubles), our bathroom door wouldn't close or lock so we went to inquire. He showed us another room that was supposed to be non smoking but that room smelled so bad you couldn't hardly breathe so we said we would keep the one we had. We went to go to sleep as it was late and turned down the sheets....The bed sheets on both beds had bad stains. One matress cover had big "D's" in ink written all over the sheet as though it was marked for damaged or no good to use, I have no idea. There were hairs all over the sheets as well. We went to ask for new clean sheets, the guy seamed very annoyed with us but sorry I wasn't going to sleep on those sheets. He proceeds to hand my husband a new set of sheets for only one of the beds stating " this is all we have and I don't know if these are clean or not or even what size they are" we get them to the room and come to find out these are stained even more than the ones on the bed! We went back to speak with him and tell him we wanted the rest of our booking(2 nights canceled) as this is NOT what we booked and it was super dirty! He said they would only give us 1 night credit because we didn't give him enough notice. We booked through hotels.com and and when we called them for help they told us that was not the hotels policy and that they then called the hotel and told them we wouldn't be charged. We had checked in at 10pm and due to how late it was hotels.com couldn't get us into another hotel for the night so we stripped down the beds and slept on 2 blankets. There was NO water pressure and the bath tub was cracked and rusted. There were 4 of us registered to stay and we were only given 2 towles. When we opened our door to leave there were people doing drugs right next to our car! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This hotel is very run down and the staff simply does not care!! Hotels.com by the way was awesome, gave us our money back and credit to rebook another hotel for the rest...

First we had a reservation set up but unfortunately one of the parties in our groupWas not going to make it so we need to transfer that reservation into another one of our parties names. In doing so, they changed our rate for the night from $88 to $120. Since we are in need of a place to stay, we went ahead and paid the full price that they changed the rate to however the room was not even adequately cleaned and unfortunately during check out we forgot a couple items in the room. I called the hotel asking very generically if anything was left in the room to see how honest they would be. The gentleman who answered the phone said they have no clue if anything was left in the room and they wouldn’t know until housekeeping turned it in at 5:00 PM. I called back just before 5 PM and the same gentleman answer the phone very rudely responding that nothing has been found. Then he continues to tell me that I could come check the room myself, but then turns around and says that the room has been rented so I can’t do that and if anything had been left behind it would have been turned in. Now I know for a fact that these items were left in the room so it’s quite disappointing to see how dishonest and untrustworthy these people are. My suggestion to anyone looking at this property to potentially stay to seek out another alternative because they gouge you in pric, steal your belongings, snd you can find much better accommodations for less money at the Howard...

I picked this hotel as it was close to my family after a 3 day drive across country for a graduation on Memorial Day weekend. My trip was RUINED by fighting and screaming EVERY NIGHT!!! Day 1 within 15 minutes a lady came up and told me she wasn’t an alcoholic she’s was just drunk! After a few minutes I managed to get away! After the 3rd night of screaming and fighting and ZERO sleep I couldn’t take anymore!!! My trip was ruined and I told the front desk I was leaving!!! She tried to give me another room in this very small hotel. NO!! She is running a homeless residence which is fine, but DO NOT run a hotel and CHEAT unsuspecting travelers out of money!! The rooms are decent, it’s just her clientele who are drunks, on drugs, sit in their cars after hours, fight, slam doors all hours and just make this a miserable place to stay as a traveler. I would NOT recommend ANYONE other than those needing a permanent resident who can’t afford an apartment and have little to no income stay here. I further recommend ALL hotel booking sites REMOVE Orange Tustin Inn from their sites!!! I booked 6 days. I stayed only 3!!! Hadn’t seen my family in 5 years!!!
