Our stay was a mix of kid's spring break and business (bleisure). I booked a Two queen suite, which is actually 2 connecting rooms with 2 -queen beds in one room and the living space in the other with sofa bed. ||Highlights:|1) The lobby/work/play downstairs is knockout!|2) The pool area is good and maintained well.|3) The restaurant/bar staff are helpful, kind and attentive.|4) Our booking was spacious with and had 2 bathrooms (one warming bidet)|5) Quick access to the toll road|6) Driving or biking distance to restaurants is short.||Areas for improvement:|1) The hospitality desk staff barely made eye contact to say hello and did not go out of their way to be helpful.|2) The pool is frigid regardless of the sun shining directly on it.|3) During our 8 day stay, the power went out, elevators power shut off, fire alarm woke us before 7a and there were no warnings regarding whether or not any of it was maintenance or problem related.|4) We learned during our 8 day stay that your room will only be cleaned and replenished every other day. This wasn't great for 4 people, despite our being pretty tidy. After going downstairs to the front desk, I was offered a free coffee (which is already free) for my trouble after having asked for service multiple times without a response by phone. |5) While there was plenty of room for sleeping and sitting, there is little to no storage for storing your items inclusive of luggage/clothes/shoes. If you have an extended stay, are lodging with multiple people and need to place your personal effects away, be prepared to be creative. |6) Lastly, this hotel is on the other side of the tollway from The Wave Hotel/BoxiPark and all restaurants. It is more of a car or bike ride, depending on what work for you. There are no immediate walkable amenities nearby.||This was not the Marriott feel that I've come to know for nearly 3 decades now. We will likely not return to this hotel but it is solely due to personal preference and all...
Read moreMy recent stay at the Arlo Hotel Lake Nona in Orlando was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the hotel's modern aesthetic and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff displaying genuine warmth and hospitality.
The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, featuring modern amenities that catered to both comfort and convenience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the large windows offered stunning views of the surrounding area.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location. Nestled in the heart of Lake Nona, it provided easy access to local attractions and dining options. Whether exploring the vibrant neighborhood or venturing into nearby Orlando, everything was conveniently close.
The on-site amenities were impressive. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the outdoor pool area was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. I also enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered a diverse menu with delicious and expertly prepared dishes.
What truly set the Arlo Hotel apart was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request made me feel truly valued as a guest.
In summary, the Arlo Hotel Lake Nona Orlando exceeded all my expectations. It combines modern luxury with outstanding service in a prime location, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on my next...
Read moreThe aloft brand is unique among the Marriott portfolio because it feels like an outlier vs so many other brands; it is hard to say where it really fits. The hotel is not for everyone. It has a very urban & youthful design and I would not say it is the warmest/most welcoming hotel design wise, but, the front of house employees make up for that. Everyone I spoke with was so personable and kind. The rooms are a good size to get comfortable although there is nowhere good to put your luggage if you do unpack, and very little drawer or closet space. The room is clean and modern (the hotel is less than a year old) and the windows are nice and big to let light in. There are some design quirks though. The bathroom is not a room, it is the entrance to the room. Nice counter space and roomy shower, not great water pressure. One thing I noticed and filmed was water would drip from the sink and down the wall that is behind the bed. I worry about this creating damage over time as well as there are a bunch of wires right under the wall. The grounds are very nice and the entire complex feels fresh and clean. Food options were fine but I wouldn’t go out of the way to eat meals at the hotel. The bar is a nice amenity to have! Last thing to note, and something that might bother people, the hotel is under a flight path and it does get very loud! It did not bother me but a good thing to note. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay and I would certainly...
