I discovered this was the perfect place to book a stay. Just blocks from the downtown and the walk to the downtown was enchanting with many historical homes to look at. Paris is a town that definitely has hometown feel with its small town shops lining the central square. The central square was decorated with scarecrows to capture Halloween spirit. I enjoyed that the town was set up to have everything in close proximity to Home Sweet Home bed and breakfast . We had no problem finding the places we wanted to visit in Paris which was not a far distance away. Lastly, in regards to Home sweet Home bed and breakfast it was enchanting the rooms, were decorated in the decor you would have seen in the early 1900s with lacy curtains, lacy doilies on the tables and the old fashion furniture. My room the rose room was so relaxing with the inviting fireplace and the comfortable bed. It was so cozy and warm inthe bedroom perfect for two people. The breakfast was just the right amount of food items not too much not too little. I thought the food was very tasty just like when I used to visit my moms house. I especially liked the sliced squash with cheese I never expected it for breakfast but it...
Read moreI want to thank our wonderful HOSTS who were so nice to us. Bailey sat down with us in the living room on our arrival to tell us a little about their B&B and the history and helped carry up our luggage. Since it was our 55th Wedding Anniversary, we chose the town of Paris and we had the extra large Paris Suite upstairs. The town of Paris was just delightful and spent several days touring it. Their delicious breakfast’s each morning were very nice and plenty of it. They served a sausage we had never had and a delicious sliced yellow squash with cheese and spices and many other traditional foods for breakfast. Since tomatoes were in season, we had ripe sliced tomatoes and mini Cherry Black tomatoes from her garden. She was so nice to give me a black cherry tomato plant to bring home so I can enjoy eating cherry tomatoes year around. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the large screened in front porch watching all the birds coming to eat in all the feeders out front. Can you imagine all the people who have sat on that front porch since 1909!! There are plenty of restaurants to go to nearby. Thank you again for a wonderful extended weekend trip. Marcia and...
Read moreOur family of three was in Paris, TN for a whirlwind weekend attending a wedding. We stayed two nights at Home Sweet Home Bed and Breakfast and wished we could have stayed longer. Bailey was very accommodating in our early arrival, greeted us at the door with an umbrella to help us with the luggage and graciously showed us around the house. Bailey also sat with us in the living room for a bit to get acquainted, give us some guidelines and find out how he could best meet our needs while we were there. We stayed in the "Paris Suite" upstairs which suited our space requirements best. The suite was comfortable, spacious, very clean and supplied with a small refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board and other comforts of home. Breakfast was amazing! Bailey and Debbie were the best hosts. The food was delicious, plentiful and there were so many choices. The only disappointment of our stay was that we had to miss breakfast the second morning because of an outrageously early...
