DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you loved the movie Pleasantville and would like to experience that in a campground than this is for you. All of the residences can't wait to say hi, and tell you how happy they are that you are there. Majority of all the "sites" have trailers with manicured lawns, zen gardens, and multiple statues. It felt like a cult complex and they could not wait to convert anyone new. The roads are narrow and flooded when it rains, the sites are INCREDIBLY small, and they do not mention in the video or on their website that they have permanent single wide trailers. I understand that it is a family run "campground" and resort but maybe keep politics out of your advertising? We paid for 3 nights but only stayed for one. We could not wait to leave and unpacked only the necessities the first night so we could leave quickly the next day. When we arrived on site it was around 7:25 pm, well the office closes at 5!!! I hope that you don't have to work because they will not wait for you to arrive. They have envelopes for check in after closing, we did not have one waiting for us! Thank goodness there was a host on site because he was the only "employee" available!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know! Stay clear, stay away!! Unless of course you are looking for a place to retire!

This campground has tons of photos but I wanted to capture the details of this campground in photos and writing because I truly feel it is what sets this place apart. They have thought of everything to accommodate their guests. The only reason I gave it four stars was due to the no fire rings. Otherwise location and meticulous grounds and the details are perfect.

Positives: They have great WIFI. Not sure if it was because we were close to the barn.

The cleanliness of the campground is nope notch. The bathrooms and showers are cleaner than my own house to be honest. Lol.

You can tell it's family friendly. They have a playground, family restroom/shower, they have an infant bath sink, and changing stations.

This campground is paved with roads and walking paths making it handicap accessible. They also have an accessible shower and bathroom(s).

The dog park is perfect and they supply all the supplies to clean up after your pup.

You can rent bikes.

The pool is awesome and clean with plenty of tables and chairs. The only downside is the pool closes after Labor Day weekend. I feel like as the seasons change and September has become much more unseasonably warm, it would be great to keep the pool open until end of September.

The grounds crew and owners are awesome. They were polite and very friendly.

The parking pads in the premium sites are extra wide which is great to to be able to setup your stuff without sand getting into everything.

They have a basketball half shooting court, ladder golf, a playground, and tether ball. Again, all is meticulously kept, although the playground could use a touch up of paint. The place is so perfect the playground makes me chuckle when I pass by because it's used character.

It's a gated facility. Which I found to feel safe.

The camp store you can tell is very well stocked in the in season and I can see why folks would rave about it.

The laundry facility is massive, clean, and machines appear to be newer. They have puzzles and games and a TV in there to pass the time. There is a change maker machine if you need it.

They have pet goats in the in-season.

Negatives: The biggest downfall for us was no fire rings in the premium sites. There are community fire rings for those that don't have them. You have to go into the standard section if you want a fire ring. I didn't think it would be that big of deal but I definitely missed the fire ring for the entire week.

The premium sites are near the road. We came after Labor Day so it wasn't too impactful but I can see how it could potentially get loud during peak season.

The sites are pricey compared to other local campgrounds but honestly this is more of an RV resort and the meticulous grounds, cleaning crew, and attention to detail is worth it. Also, it's location makes it perfect for biking, walking to the beach.

There is no alcohol allowed. Do I think folks drink beer and wine absolutely; but done respectfully, and discreetly.

Additional info.: Rates posted in my picture are not holiday rates. These may be off season rates. (See photo).

No tent camping allowed. This doesn't affect me but I want to make others aware.

There is no dump station because campers hook directly into the sewer (see utility hookup picture).

Map of campground attached. There is an entire section for seasonal folks and they are upscale mobile homes/single wide trailers.

If you have a large RV I recommend you park in the premium sites. It makes it much easier to navigate.

They have overflow parking.

If you want no crowd and easy wait times in the towns and attractions come after Labor Day, just know some of it might be closed or have shorter open hours.

They have a propane fill up station.

The RVs and 40-45 foot trailers definitely are made for the premium sites where the grass and oak shade trees are.

Standards sites can only accommodate up to 26 ft. To me those sites seem tight and they are all gravel.

The narrow roads that folks refer to I'm assuming they mean the standard sites.

There is a barn and log cabins...

We pulled up to our site 49 and I thought someone was playing a joke. You see all the green grass and trees on the website. All we had was GRAVEL and no trees!!! The whole site was just gravel with a metal fence separating us from the people behind us. The sites to the left and right were only separated by a board on the ground. The sites were very narrow with barely enough room to park your car. All of the sites around us were like this. The roads in our section were very narrow and difficult to navigate. I would not feel safe letting my kids ride their bike alongside cars in such tight space.||||The website said there was a gravel pad, but that usually means where you park your trailer is gravel, not the entire site. In fact, the description on the website says, "Gravel based pad with water, electric 30/50 amp, sewer and picnic table. Has individual firepits. Max length is 26 feet (hitch to bumper)". We have a special needs little one and would never had selected a site that was entirely gravel. We had to constantly worry about him on the gravel, making it difficult to relax. I talked to the office and asked them to please fix the website description so people's vacations are not spoiled by selecting the standard full hookup site. As a side note, nowhere on the website video does it show sites that are entirely gravel. All of the sites in the video had grass.||||The sites on the other side of the park looked very nice. They are premium sites that do not have fire pits. Had we known that the sites with firepits were all gravel, we would have booked a premium site and forgone the firepit.||||With that said, there are A LOT of amenities at the park. Our kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and they adored the goats and chickens. The bathroom was very nice, the other campers were pretty quiet. The only noise was occasional traffic noise as the campground is right off a main road.||||We did notice that there was political propaganda on display in the campground (by the owners, not the other campers). We were not expecting to see that on our vacation. It strikes me as unprofessional to display political propaganda at a place of business, regardless of political belief.||||I now have read a bunch of reviews and I am concerned how the township can allow fire pits on some sites but not others. It does not make...

Rented The Barn for four nights with our two daughters and their families, and our son. Total 5 kids and 7 adults. Absolutely the best family vacation ever. We lacked for nothing. Kids loved the bunk room. We LOVED the master bedroom and bath. The others all had adequate rooms upstairs on the opposite side of the house from the kids. The kids ranged from 8-14 so didn’t really need adult supervision at night. So many nice touches. Huge kitchen- we made most of our meals. An entire floor to ceiling pantry in the kitchen for all our food. Huge very clean refrigerator with ice maker. Large pantry off the kitchen where we could store our coolers and empty pop cans. Huge eating area and awesome deck. Even a rack for wet bathing suits. More cooking equipment in the kitchen than you can imagine. Large living room with big screen TV. An interesting small room off to the side for games or reading. Extra bedroom off the kitchen where one grandson slept occasionally when his cousin snored. Gas fire pit under an awning on the deck for quiet late night chats. Pool just a few steps away as well as the playground. Garage for our car plus all the bikes. Parking spots designated for the rest. And all the little touches. Paper towels, toilet paper, liquid soap at every sink, Q-tips, cotton balls, soft towels, great linens- I could go on and on. We’ve done many family vacations and have had to bring so much equipment. We hope to repeat this again and now know what we do not need to bring. It was the greatest...
