Quite literally the rudest staff Iāve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Found myself in a situation where I needed lodging for the night. This place had good reviews (which Iām convinced are shills) and decent rates- thatās all I needed for the time. Online we saw there were a few rooms available. Decided to go take a look because we were only 15 minutes away. Called the front desk from inside the hotel parking lot to book for the night, was told ādo it online, we donāt do it over the phone or walk-insāā¦.okay why? Went online to book (still in the parking lot) and now it was listed as zero room availability. Called front desk again, asked why she didnāt express that they were booked before telling me to book online. Was told this time that they were at full capacity. WRONG. Went to another booking site and found vacancy, which I immediately booked. Went inside to get the key and was told that my roommate couldnāt park in the lot, only one car allowed, despite the rooms all meant for 2. The place wasnāt even full The Hindu couple at the check in desk were straight up RUDE and aggressive. Locked me out of the lobby, now Iām in the parking lot WITH a reservation and im locked out without a key. So business partner called the desk (still in the parking lot). Was given excuse after excuse, my favorite being that they had 10 other check ins for the night scheduled to arrive (mind you this was 11:00pm at this point). I explained that nowhere on the booking sites does it stipulate only one car is permitted, she pointed to a sign at the desk and says āitās right hereāā¦etf good is that? Yāall only take online reservations, it doesnāt take a genius to see the inherent flaw of that logic. Told partner that there was no management to speak with (even tho the lady had told me that she was the mgr). Spent another hour trying to get a refund so I could get going and find a place to stay before midnight at least. The attitude was mind boggling, Iām no Karen but wow! Never experienced such poor and downright rude customer service anywhere in my travels. Additionally, the place looked like garbage, the lobby was nice but thatās clearly a facade. Was willing to settle because it was late but after they pulled all the bs, I left and stayed at the Ramada- same rate, mucho better accommodations. Iām convinced the majority of these reviews are shills, there is NO WAY a legit business could have such positive reviews with Habeeb and Anita at the helmā¦like no chance. If I was the owner, I would be furious to learn my guests were being treated in such a unprofessional manner. Donāt believe the reviews, this place is sketch. Glad they didnāt get a single rupee from me. Avoid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really want to give this place five stars because it was a really cool, well decorated hotel, but there were a few things that really put us off during our stay (3 nights).
The first was that when we arrived (after giving 24 hours notice and an approximate arrival time) our A.C. hadn't been turned on, so the room was about 90 degrees for the first night and next day. The only unit is in the corner of the room and cools off a square foot at a time. The manager brought us a fan after we asked if anything could be done.
The second was that as we were unpacking a COCKROACH the size of a MOUSE scurried out from under/behind the bed. The manager seemed clueless as to what to do and mumbled and apology. I asked for bug spray and he brought up Raid, which we sprayed EVERYWHERE. The only other cockroach we saw during our stay was a squished one outside the door to the room next to ours on the welcome mat. This one was also pretty big. Not sure if they have an infestation or what.
I have mixed feelings about this hotel because while all our issues were addressed, they were things that could've been prevented. I should also note that our room seemed like it was cleaned when the last occupant left, and then never touched for however long after it was until we arrived. I'm assuming this is how the roach went unnoticed and why our A.C. was neglected. Again, I just feel like these things were preventable.
I tried to see if there was anything the manager could do with our rate because of our trouble and he didn't even let me finish my sentence before denying any sort of refund. Not worth 150$ a night.
Again, take this and the other reviews with a grain of salt and make your own decision on whether or not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA pasdena treat. This place was a just as much as a surprise in person as it was online. You kw pics don't always tell the true story until you show up disappointed. Not the case this time. Booked the jacuzzi room. Everything was exactly what the pics indicated. Nice clean room with a touch of elegance. Glass shower was on point and so was the jacuzzi. Frig was ice cold, hidden microwave will smoke your leftovers if you aint cateful lol. Rug was clean and no odors or filth whatsoever can be seen. Bed was comfy and firm. 50" screen tv approx which we were able to get a few hrs of tv time in. Small table 3 chairs , night stands. Hair dryer. Ironing board are all available. There are only a few parking spaces so if your out all night you might have to park elsewhere. There is soda machine on the premises. You will have drive to get food or see who delivers in the area.
This place has about 4 jacuzzi rooms which he said were bigger then the one i had. There is blue lighting in the room to add to that romantic wknd. The area is crine free but always stay alert at night regardless. The entire area as a whole is quite. No unwanted activity around at all. Hwy 210 runs parallel with Colorado blvd. You can exit at madre st exit or san gabriel depending on your travel route. Great spot with quick access to everything. LA, Long beach, Santa Monica, Anaheim, Glendale etc etc are minutes away and if your not familiar with the area just map it out in advance. Plenty of hwy to get you where you...
