American Inn — Hotel in Petersburg

IF YOU LOOKING FOR A CHEAP PLACE TO STAY ALONG YOUR ROUTE DOWN SOUTH DON'T STAY HERE!!!||I can't say enough about how bad this place is...to start, the room cost was $50 and we are watching our credit card to make sure we get refunded. After seeing the conditions of the room, and the clients who obviously are LIVING at this fleabag, we asked for a refund.||The attendant at desk gave us a key to room and told us to drive around to the back of motel and we were to be on the second floor. We did see a room open with piled up mattresses in one room, dirty clothing outside another room, someone's shoes outside another room and a vehicle that was obviously NOT in running condition with smashed out windows.... And undesirable "neighbors" sitting outside their rooms. Inside the room we were given was what I would say is undesirable conditions at even $50.00. ||There is no way I would feel safe with the door looking as though a gentle kick or push would open it. On top of that, I'm sure with the clients "staying" there the action begins at sunset. ||If possible I would give this...

Horrible I stayed here For Less then 2 Minutes And 3 Cockroaches skittered away when we entered My dad (I was with my dad sister and grandpa) but my dad Seemed disappointed Second we walked into the room And I didn’t get halfway Into the room Before Going out again me and my sister Both told our dad he can sleep there but that we would sleep in the car Because we had read reviews and the reviews didn’t lie We Saw Cockroaches flys I even think a moth was in there and Outside where 2 Giant Spiders Who Made such giant webs my dad Needed to Move the other way not to touch it Person on management was nice At the least he tried to offer us a room that was slightly less disgusting It had dirt in the beds and Walls Overall Disgusting and I don’t even think my dad got a refund im not sure how people can come...

Was in the process of buying home needed a place for couple of weeks while waiting for home to be ready. They are very friendly and doing a lot of repairs at the time of my stay. So things were being remodeled and undated, the room I was staying in was quite clean, offered not just a mini fridge and microwave but we also had a 4 burner stove with working oven, double kitchen sink and eating area along with King size bed as well as a pull out couch for comfortable television entertainment The cost was also a big plus I totally recommend staying with American Inn. Even with the repairs going on this did not effect my sleep in any way as it was during the day we would sleep and work on our home during the night. You guys made our situation a lot less...
