We had dinner here on a Friday evening, around 7PM. This was a group of 10 (including 2 kids, 5 and 11 years old) with no reservation, mind you. They let us know there would be about a 15-20 minute wait, which was totally expected. Once we were seated, we had our beverage orders taken very quickly (within like two minutes). The server was clearly having a busy night and probably stressing about our table. She didn't let that affect our service at all.
We ordered four appetizers - mozzarella sticks, bruschetta, bang bang shrimp, and fried mushrooms. Everything was hot and appetizing. The bruschetta mixture was a tad watery, but the bread served with it was really great. The mozzarella sticks were a hit, but we were only given 4, where the menu specified 6. I assume they've updated the serving, but didn't update the menu. It was just odd. The shrimp and the mushrooms were a hit with everyone who tried them.
Most of the table ordered entrees that came with salad, and one person ordered a specialty salad. They were all fresh, with crisp lettuce, pretty toppings, and good dressings.
I won't list all the entrees that were ordered because, believe it or not, every person ordered something different. The chicken/shrimp alfredos and the chicken carbonara were highly enjoyed and would be recommended. The other diners felt their entrees were "just okay" overall.
We ordered another entree and five or six desserts to-go. These were bagged nicely and came out in a reasonable time, considering the diner that wanted the to-go entrees waited until the absolute end of the meal to say anything about it. The desserts we enjoyed at home were all great and I'd recommend them! (Especially the Reese's pie)
Overall, it was a good dining experience, with mixed reviews on the food itself. This was a bit disappointing, because for 10 people with an auto-grat (and an additional tip), it was an expensive meal. We were helped at the table by other employees besides our server and everyone was very nice. I think if you're local to the area and you have time to try different dishes on different trips to see what you like, this is probably a good spot to go for a date night once or twice a month.
For what it's worth, I KNOW they make banging subs, because I would have them at the old location when I actually lived in the area. So for lunch, definitely a thumbs up.
So yeah, give it a shot. The service is good, it's...
Read moreI’ve been contemplating wether to write this review or not because I’m still in shock. Last weekend I had an event at Roma in the banquet room. I booked it over a month ago, was very excited because I’ve heard so many good things about them, been to an event there, and been there to eat a couple times. Expecting everything to go great, I went ahead and booked another date as well, for another event. Long story short they got the two reservations mixed up and gave me endless trouble about it until I SOLVED THE PROBLEM ON MY OWN. Something that was completely their fault I took into my own hands. They rang up all of my guests on the same checks when the explication clearly said separate check. Since they read the application incorrectly and we’re expecting everything to be one check, they only had one server come and take care of us. Who by the way did the best he could and was very apologetic. But multiple times I was asked if I wanted separate checks or one check and I repeatedly said separate checks and they STILL put everything on one check. After trying multiple times to convince me that nothing could be done because of THEIR MISTAKE, I finally told them they needed to void the check and re ring in all of my guests meals because I was not prepared to pay one check as that is not what I told them. The manager Johnny, who I heard wonderful things about and had never had a bad experience with, was surprisingly very rude, argued, and then wanted to remind me that I was responsible if we didn’t meet the minimum of $200 when my party brought in almost $400 so that was completely unnecessary. He never even apologized. Needless to say I was very disappointed. And I canceled my second reservation and will be taking my business elsewhere...

Let's start with service: perfect 10/10: details
9/10 Stromboli was a cheese lover’s dream come true. The mozzarella was incredible perfectly melted, rich, and unbelievably stretchy. Every bite came with that satisfying cheese pull that makes your mouth water before it even hits your tongue. It wasn’t just a topping, it was the star of the table, oozing into every layer, and blending beautifully with the pepperoni. The crust was a perfect crispy golden brown holding in all that cheesy goodness. Paired with the tangy marinara, it was comfort food perfection. If you’re chasing that epic cheese stretch, look no further. (The only way to improve this dish is to have a spicier sauce/pepperoni option)
Pesto pasta earned a solid 4/5. The sauce was vibrant and fresh, with a bold basil flavor that really stood out. The texture of the pasta was spot on, cooked to a perfect al dente. The only thing keeping it from a perfect score was a slightly heavy hand with the oil, while the rishness helped the pesto coat the pasta throughly it became a bit overwhelming by the end. Still, it was delicious and satisfying, and I’d definitely order it again.
