Budget Motor Inn - Petersburg / Fort Lee — Hotel in Petersburg

So I stayed here for two nights this week. Visiting family etc the usual reason to stay in a hotel. Walked in immediately had roaches running out the door handle. Stomped them to help with the local population. Second had to get toilet paper because they didn't have any on the roll after taking a massive dump. So I had to walk up to the front with poop extending between my legs. No one was at the desk and they had this old telephone sitting there. It rung for like 40 secs when she finally answered. I told her needed toilet paper. While I waited they had a bunch of signs no kids out playing after 7pm. Pets cost 10 per extra, adults 5, kids over 13 years old, supplies won't be given to weekly guest etc. a lot of rules just to stay at this place. Anyways she showed up gave me toilet paper. Went back to wipe had a mess all over myself. So I had to take a shower after that. Went to go take one they only had two little bars to wash yourself. No towels to clean yourself. I been using hotels and they have gotten more expensive over the course of 6 years. I use to get a room for 40 dollars and have way more stuff. I get free soaps in bottles to wash my hair and this honey and something body wash. An actually bed which I'll get to that. So I go up to the front for towels. Not at the desk again. So I call just for her to answer "hello..." Like I need towels and she responds with "I'm sorry but I haven't washed the towels yet." Like it's 7 pm and I checked in earlier when I got in town. Now I don't got towels. So I leave and go to my son's house to take a shower. Can you believe it I paid $65 dollars a night for this experience. I only got back for like 30 minutes and I'm back at my son's house taking a shower with actual soap and towels. So I come back turn on the TV only to have lines running through the TV. Trying to watch some sports which none were on should have known. No basketball or football on absolutely terrible. They do have this nice restaurant called Rome's down the street. Got a chicken sandwich with fries. Recommend checking it out if your around. On my second day I did get Chinese which was okay nothing special about the lo mein at all. Well anyways I fell asleep and woke up around 2am to people yelling and banging. Just had to sit there and wait. Drifted back to sleep to get woken up at 7 am to someone blaring music. For a solid 20 minute. Anyways that woke me up for good to find out metal beds without box springs was bad for my back. Anyways poor experience had landed me to not recommend this place to anyone. Because I stayed in cheaper and better hotels then this one. Also I almost forget Internet goes out randomly for whatever reason. Tried hooking up to my laptop to do some work just to be greeted by no Internet. Worked later in the morning. I have home internet and it only cost $60 for 300mbs. For one days worth they should be able to cover a month if not more from me alone. That's my reviews of this hotel. I gave it 2 stars because well I'm a nice person and I don't want to ruin their 2 and a half star rating because...

First they over charged for the room they gave me room 122 in it smelled like piss and when i called to ask for another room they complained and said it didnt smell they then took me to room 111 that hadn't been clean finally they took me upstairs too room 222 directly over room 122 and it smelled like mold finally i asked for my money back for which the owner gave but not before he complained and fust and told me i tore room 122 up because i pulled back the blanket and sheets to check the bed and told me to never come back to his motal again and also i went to plug my charger into the socket behind the nightstand and found a black n mild cigar that tells you how good there...

I am very impressed with the improvements budget has made recently. The best thing for me was there are NO ROACHES!!! that made me the happiest women EVER! There is not a single low priced motel in this or the surrounding areas that is not infested with roaches. The building looks so much better in the blue they painted it and even the rooms had their minor repairs and upkeep done.great job best inn I think u r one of the best low end motels in the Petersburg area along with motel 6 and super 8.
