Honestly, if I could give this a 0/5 I would. I traveled 1,200 miles from Texas to Phoenix for the service to be very poor. When I first got there they forever to even acknowledge me. The first day that we got there we already had problems with the front desk, then a problem with the AC in the room. We had to repack all of our things to move to another room because the rooms AC wasn’t blowing out cold air. They took care of that that day, which is a good thing, but I misplaced one of our own towels and AirPods their and knowing we were the last ones there and we were still there they could’ve gave us our missing belongings back but they didn’t. They never replaced the towels from the hotel or even knocked to see if we needed new towels. On our last night after a long day of traveling Phoenix my boyfriend mentioned the pool was opened so we went and I had my feet in the jacuzzi while he was sitting down on the chair by the table. We were then soon approached by a women who was in the front desk with curly hair who I believe was the manager because she had a walkie talkie came out and not even nicely but rudely told us “The pool is closed! what’s your room number?!” And my husband acknowledged her and told her the room number and I that moment I was on the phone with one of my family members. She then told us “well I’m not going to be nice to y’all, go pack your stuff because I’m kicking y’all out!” just for us having our feet in there. We were getting up without even acknowledging her and I was on the phone with my family member while all this was happening. they kicked us out for not knowing that the pool was closed because it was definitely open and for having my feet in the water, JUST MY FEET. Then she had the audacity to call the cops and when we came he told me that she falsely claim that I was speaking to her rudely, she claimed that I was all in her face when I didn’t even acknowledge her, speak to, nor got close to the lady at all because she was across from us, on the other side of the fence from the pool. All because the pool door was open and we didn’t even know the pool was closed. We really just wanted to have our feet in the water after a long day of traveling Phoenix. I understood it was closing hours, but we had no knowledge of that and she did not had to be rude nor kick us out of the hotel room just for that, when we were already on our way out of the pool. I didn’t get no refund and I didn’t even get my deposit back. I even told the police officer we didn’t have enough money to buy another hotel because we had to go back to Texas the next morning. We ended up having to sleep in the freaking car because we were going to use our gas money to get a hotel or at least a motel but they were all booked already because of Memorial weekend. We really drive to at least 10 or more hotels trying to find at least a one bedroom hotel or motel but with our luck we didn’t find any. The sad part is that my mother, who is an older woman was with me and she had to sleep uncomfortably in the car, that’s...
Read moreWorst place I've stayed at!! 2 nights stay. Upon arrival it took over an hour to check in. A receptionist Mitch was checking everyone in. While standing in line a few people were holding up signs with numbers on them? I asked them what that meant, they said their keys to their rooms were not working and when Mitch has time to rekey them he would get to them. I guess the signs were a reminder? Finally, after all the signs Mitch apologized to everyone and stopped taking check ins and rekey the rooms. One must have patience!! Mitch returns to checking people in. I now am next and he retrieves my reservations and apologizes as he has no suites to upgrade his Gold Members, I assured him that was fine. We were there to go to our appointments the following day at the Mayo client. Once in our room, there was such a horrific smell. We left our door open for at least 2 hours. I called the front desk speaking with Mitch of the un-godly order. He said there were no rooms, he was out of deodorizers and would spray the next day. I explained to him no deodorizers would fix the smell he needed to remove the couch. We had such a dreadful night the Oder was so overpowering. Returning to our room the following day from our Mayo Clinic Visit was far much worse. Mitch or housekeepers sprayed the room, and the odor had worsened. I immediately went back to the Office wanting to speak with Mitch which he was not in. I was very angry and upset!! I explained to the Receptionist Cynthia & Lisa the condition of our room, it smelled like urine (Human) and that if they did nothing or if my husband's condition worsened or were to get another illness I would hit the Hotel with a lawsuit!! Both Cynthia and Lisa found us another room. They truly were pleasant to work with. I left a tip with Lisa to share with Cynthia. Upon check out I was Greeted by Lovely Cynthia. I asked her if Mitch was in, nope!! Again? I explained and showed her red itchy bumps I had on my neck, arms and legs. I don't know if they are from bed bugs or fleas from either room? Of course Cynthia was squeamish. Cynthia did not hesitate to discount our bill. When leaving I gave her a tip she said she'd share with Lisa. I asked her if Lisa shared the tip I had given her the other day? She replied No. Interesting? I told Cynthia that is her tip to keep and not to share with Lisa. Due to Spring Training all the rooms were sold out. I booked my room in advance (January 10, 2023) Breakfast is ok, just the basic waffles, coffee, tea, juices, cold cereal, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs. Lot's of care being devoted to the exterior, which is very nice.100% dedication needs to be devoted to the interior rooms, some lights non operational, toilet seats loose, bathtubs, sinks, walls, décor undesirable. It's time for an interior overhaul. I am not looking for a job, but do know what your faculty is in need of. Now for a real shocker: Mitch is the GM!! Wow, I know I'd find a replacement. By the way, 2 days later I am still itching and...
Read moreI was going to be staying by myself, which can already be a scary thing to do as a woman, but I was confident that I would be safe there. Due to my circumstances, my boyfriend, who walked me to my room, could not stay with me, but I was still sure that I would be safe. That confidence left so quickly that I will never stay at a la Quinta ever again. I arrived and was greeted kindly by the woman at the desk who gave me directions to my room. On the way to my room, there was trash everywhere with strange looking stains all over the place. A man stood directly outside my door and would not move out of the way. I nervously went into the room, and he thankfully left. The floor had stains everywhere, and the room had a smell. The bathroom light didn't work, and it had a hole in the ceiling. I came to find that my door was not locked properly. These concerns brought my boyfriend and I back to the front desk. When I walked back into the lobby, a man was sitting in one of the chairs close to the desk and started grinning at me while looking me up and down. Every time I looked back to see if he was still there, I saw that he still had not stopped smiling, looking me up and down, and staring at me. I will never forget the sinister look on his face. But he's a guest too. There was nothing I could do about that. At the counter, I asked for another room, and the woman behind the counter happily gave me one and said OUT LOUD what room I was staying in! Now that man, who would not stop staring at me, knows what room I'm staying in. I told her I needed another new room since she just announced it to the lobby (and that man) where i would be sleeping that night. She gave me another without saying the number out loud. On the way to my new room, I saw more trash and stains everywhere. Looking into other windows whose curtains were not closed, I saw furniture flipped upside down, and what I HOPE was cherry coolaide all over the bed. At this point, my heart was racing, my skin felt hot, and I officially did NOT feel safe staying there. I still went into my room. The light was working, but it was clearly not properly cleaned. The table still had sticky substances, and there was what I HOPE IS BAKING SODA in various spots everywhere. At this point, my boyfriend and I had enough. I went to the counter, returned my keys, and asked for a refund, which I was told I would get. I left and found another place to stay. It's been over a week, and I still did not get my refund, so I called to ask why it still had not been showing in my account, and it turns out the refund was never initiated. I was told just now that it is NOW being processed, and I should receive the credit to my account in five business days. I will never forget the sick feeling I now associate with this place. Fingers crossed that I...
