Infinity Sweets Custom Treats — Restaurant in Phoenix

So excited to see a local neighborhood bakery open here in Central Phoenix & Uptown. Best part is it’s right across the street from me!! I moved to Phoenix 3 years ago from the East Coast & I’ve definitely been missing a local bakery. I’ve been in now several times since they’ve opened & I’ve never been disappointed. Every time I go in I try to get different things so I can try everything they offer but I definitely have my go to favorites which are the brownies, lemon bars, eclairs, & mini pineapple upside down cakes. I have noticed that the eclairs & pineapple are not always there I hope that they decide to make those staples & always have them :) I know that they are still only a few months old & are still growing & shaping their business. But I do have a few suggestions that I hope will help keep them here for a long time to come.

My suggestions are 1. Stay open later, right now they close at 4pm which is hard for us working customers who can’t get there before they close. I did stop by last Friday because I saw they were open late but I was told it was just a trial run. I definitely hope they decide to stay open later :) 2. It would be great to see them have a few ready to go cakes vs having to just special order them. I understand special ordering allows for customization but there are times when you just need a cake in a pinch & don’t want some boring big box store one. 3. Have more products I’ve noticed sometimes they only have 1 or 2 of something. Yes that’s great that the baked goods are selling but I know I never want to not be able get something I really like or not be able to get a large amount of something if I have a get together. Like I said before I’m from the East Coast & the bakery that was by me was always stocked so maybe I’ve been a little spoiled but I know that Central Baking Company will be like that as well as they continue to grow. 4. more bread options 5. I’d love to see Coffee Cake, Pound Cake, Cheesecake, more gluten free baked good options & I hope for the summer they will have Angel Food Cake 6. This is the biggest suggestion MORE VISIBILITY! Right now they only have a small chalk board style sidewalk sign which you can’t read when driving by & a banner. I didn’t notice they were there for a few weeks after they opened the only reason I did finally notice is because I was stopped in traffic and happened to look that way and I noticed the banner. I did ask the lady that was there one time like a month or so ago and was told that they had a bigger sidewalk sign and window deals on order.

Really bad phone service I called her Saturday afternoon requesting an order for Sunday. She’s like no too soon. I’m like okay do you have anything else? She’s like I don’t know. Very very horrible customer service I would never shop here. If her customer service is that poor what does her pastries like? Which was really not that hard of an otter. It was 12 macaroons I can make 12 macaroons and a couple hours. Then I was calling her about her cupcakes he’s like I don’t know. Very very lazy not willing to talk on the phone. Glad to have supported a black owned business but highly disappointed in the product. I purchased 5 delicious looking cupcakes today with the hopes that they would all taste good or at the very least one would. All the cupcakes were almost hard to the touch. Very firm & very dry. Same goes for the icing. I was able to just break the whole icing top off the cupcake. As for the toppings the red velvet cookie tasted ok. The churro was also very hard. I would love to know how long the cupcakes sit if they aren’t sold before being thrown out. Overall, these are just my tastebuds talking. Try them out...
