Love that everything is in Polish even though the majority of us is at least bilingual at the parish. The current pastor, and sister's are trilingual - so awesome! There are different organizations & prayers groups. My favorites are the first Friday and first Saturday adoration and prayers. It gives you a chance to go to confession and attend Mass. It's great being able to dedicate a couple or so hours for our mind, body & soul. There's no need to stress there is a crying room with the view of the church for those with kiddies.
Home of the "Polish Festival!" which happens either before or after Easter, never during Lent. Ideally, the weekend or two before Easter as it's cooler for the Polish Folk Dancers/Entertainment... and for everyone. Our family and friends attend both days of the event. (When it's before Lent, it's our version of Mardi Gras!) We get our dose of the Traditional Polish Cuisine for the year. There are vendor booths that you could actually get a good deal if you're in the market for what they offer. Since we attend year after year I could vouch that vendors change so if you are in the market to enjoy the festival and make your product or service more known this is a great place to do it. You cannot miss the festival's Gift Shop either. In the near future, I hope to see some Polish CD's of folk music, Disco Polo, prayers, or some religious songs & music... Oh, and movies, I hope we get some Polish movies too. This would be a must-have for individuals with Polish roots and it's great to remember that aspect of our heritage as well. Guess I gotta keep going to the Polish Festival year after year - oh, such Delicious & Entertaining torture - LOL.
Can't wait to see if they will have Biesiada again this year, it's the Polish version of Oktoberfest. There is sausage and kraut and yummy rye bread... oh and the beer, lots and lots of beer. Okay fine, there's also soda and water which is the category I typically fall into... but this is a special occasion I got to have at least a sip of beer to go with my sausage and kraut.
Now I need to do a little soul searching and it seems I spent more time bragging about the festival and bishada then the prayers but the food & fun at the parish is also needed...
Read moreI wouldn't say I am a devout Catholic anymore but being away from my family, not being from Arizona originally, along with the events of the past year have put a lot of things into perspective, including my faith so having a Polish church offers me comfort, community and familiarity I crave. The masses have social distancing measures in place, and I feel safe attending, although I go Saturday or even Friday when there is usually less people in attendance. And i find the projector helpful as I've forgotten a lot of the songs, it's nice to have something to...

At the most difficult and painful time in my life everyone involved there was very caring and respectful. It made it easier to say goodbye. Beautiful place and people inside and out! Id give 100 stars if I could. Thank u for having...
