Smoky Mountain Resort Lodging and Conference Center — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

We stayed in Holy Grove #1. Church outing for the youth 22 total. 8 adults 14 children ranging different ages. Our stay was 08/03/2017 thru 08/06/2017. This chalet had plenty of room and suggest it will sleep 30 people. We could have fit 10 more easily. Rooms were comfy and nice with the three main having like there own private bathroom. Being able to lock the doors were a plus with so many running around. Water was always hot. Bathrooms are nice in size. Kids bunk area was wide and roomy no tight feeling. All tvs worked. Internet and wifi a real plus with the older children. Kitchen spacious with room to handle a big crowd. Since it was the #1 we were a hill jump away from the pool.

Only bad we encountered when we arrived: Lower level air wasn't working and internet wasn't either. Quick call to the service desk and they had someone out fast. Overall I'd recommend this place and I would go...

13B was as clean as could be expected. Really my only complaint was the hot water. After 2 showers there was NONE for HOURS!!! Being a woman, a mother, and the planner of the trip naturally I was last. Next day we split showers up with plenty of time between them. Still only 2 showers were done with luke warm water. Next complaint, not enough towels and wash rags for the number of people reserved to stay. Next complaint, Hot tub would not warm past 89°. Overall for the price and the fact rhat this is how my 8 & 9 year old wanted to spend their birthdays, I can't complain. I definitely wouldn't book as an adult only trip because that to me would be a waste of money. Maintenance and repairs should be on the top of the list for 13B for sure and probably many others. Fantastic place to have special events and /or get togethers. We spent Thanksgiving in the event center room by the pool. There's a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, the large room, and also a smaller room off to the side. They will provide tables, chairs, and decor for the event as well. The room has a large flat screen TV with cable and there is a beautiful place across the way where we took family photos! We also had a Birthday party there in May. My Son and Daughter-in-law were married at the wedding venue on the hill in September and we had the reception at the Convention Center.
