My name is Guillermo Orozco , My objective is to describe through this complaint the terrible experience that I suffered last week from July 21 to 28, 2021 in one of its facilities: LA QUINTA INN BY WYNDHAM ORLANDO AIRPORT WEST located at 7931 Daetwyler Drive Orlando, FL 32812. It has been the worst experience and attention I have had in my life, when I arrived on July 21: room # 143 that I had reserved online and paid once at the front desk, I perceive that it did not have a minibar as well as a microwave, when I told the The guy at the reception that same night about the problem told me that he would do everything possible but that he did not have many rooms available, after several minutes of demand and anguish on my part, the man in charge changes the room to # 138, the latter if he had all the comforts for which he had previously paid. However, the bed sheets did not have enough hygiene, during the almost 7 days that I was staying my 2 key cards did not work at the end of the day when I returned to the room, I had to go night after night to the front desk of the hotel so that they will activate it again. On Saturday night, July 24, around 12:55 AM, the sink in room # 138 was completely flooded, throwing dirty water with a bad smell from the hotel's internal waste pipes on the floor of the room. This, the next day in the morning I went to communicate it to the manager at the front desk as well as to inform him that they had to clean the room as a result of the dirty water that was spilled as well as that it was possible for him to pick up the garbage from the room since no one had passed to clean the room. After the complaint, someone from the maintenance staff came to the room and told me that the problem would be solved as well as that they were going to clean the floor and pick up the garbage, all this was a total LIE, nobody came to clean the room, the The trash can was in the same condition, the floor was completely dirty and the sheets were not changed either. After so much indignation and annoyance, the ideal would have been that they would change our room as a result of the bad smell and the clogging that the room presented but it never happened, as if that were not enough on July 27 in the morning just at the time that it was leaving towards the Universal Orlando parks the door of the room did not close, the electronic lock was broken offering total insecurity for me and my belongings. When communicating this problem to the person in charge of the hotel reception, the lady tried to fix the problem and it did not work, finally the miracle and what they had to do from the first moment that the problems began: they changed me to room # 203. Right after For 6 days staying in a room with stench, dirt, poor hygiene in the sheets and flooding in the sink and the floor of the room and the broken electronic lock change us rooms. As I said at the beginning of my complaint, it was the worst experience of my life in a hotel, I thought that this franchise of La Quinta Hotels as well as the Wyndham hotels had good quality, comfort and excellent accommodation, but unfortunately I left with the worst opinion as far as hotels are concerned. If in the future I would have to rent or book a hotel I WILL NEVER MAKE A RESERVATION IN LA QUINTA, NOR IN WYNDHAM. I hopefully these problems will be solved and they will be able to provide an...

My stay here at Laquinta Inn by Wyndham was very disappointing throughout my stay November 22-24 2024! If I can leave no stars I would! My room 147 smelled of mold/mildew, sheets and pillows had stains, front door didn't completely shut, tub was filthy, had to go to Walmart and purchase bathroom cleaner and lysol, roaches crawling on the bathroom counter, apparent residue from a roach being killed on the wall and not cleaned in the bathroom, carpet smelled old like it hasn't been shampooed in years, build up dust on walls, headboards and light fixtures especially next to the beds, causing asthma/allergy flare up! Fire safety sprinkler looked rusted and corrosion on them inside bedroom. Paint pealing from the ceiling and walls especially inside of the bathroom next to the tub. Mold inside of the tub and rusted drain and faucets and shower handles! Toilets was leaking at the base and continously ran all night. No room serviced offered only offered 1 towel and wash cloth by a room service attendant who knocked on the door asking if we needed towels, that spoke no English at all! We tried to ask if she was here to clean the room and if so can she come back because we were getting dressed to go out for breakfast. She didn't understand nothing we were saying so we ended up getting just one wash cloth after being frustrated with the language barrier! I went to the front desk to complain Saturday morning around 11:30am and was offered another room by the front desk manager Leila, went to check that room and it smelled worst than the room I was currently in and smelled like animals and mold! After speaking with the front desk manager again about the room conditions she began to rush me to check out because it was after 11am checkout time on Saturday and with me having one more night she offered to refund me the last night if I checked out. I told her to give me a few minutes to find another hotel, she began to rush me giving me 5 minutes to check out and threatening that I'll be charged an additional 30 dollars because checkout time had passed. I expressed to her that I wasn't checking out until I found somewhere else to relocate to. She was very inconsiderate constantly saying she offered me another room and I needed to hurry up and checkout. I decided to stay the last night because I didn't have much time on my hand and a lot of the hotels were booked due to all of the festivities in the surrounding area of Orlando. I also had an engagement to attend for our daughter that we traveled in town for within 2 1/2 hours. I will never book again at this Laquinta Inn by Wyndham or any other for this matter due to this...

I wish I could do zero stars. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. The check in lady couldn’t help but lie the whole time. First she told us that booking online was easier. So we tried that. My friend was able to check in ok using priceline. I tried on this Inn’s website itself, not priceline, and noticed there was a room available with a single bed, but that room was listed at 3 different prices and I went to confirm with the check in lady which price was correct. She gave me a weird look and told me there were no single-bed rooms on the premise there are only double bed rooms. So I asked if we could just check-in in person at the desk since we are there and she has all the information. She told me that when we booked online we don’t get to choose the room, they choose the room on their side for us. I thought it made sense. my friend offered to book it on her priceline app. Well she clicked the first room available and I thought things were going fine. The check in lady then notified us that the room we booked for me was the single-bed room, which is reserved for handicapped, which is totally fine!!!! we can take a double bed room!!! BUT SHE JUST SAID SHEEEEEE PICKS THE ROOM FOR US NO MATTER HOW WE BOOK IT ONLINE. So I said wait a minute you just said that room doesn’t exist, she then told me that’s not what she said, ok fine. I don’t care what you said, we just need a room. She told me she couldn’t change it. Now I never get upset with customer service people, I know how it can be, but how was she not just blatantly lying to me? after arguing with her she agreed to change the room for us. The room she gave us is completely ransacked and not cleaned at all besides the bedsheets and towels. Broken TV, broken dresser that looks like it’s been chewed through, dirty carpet with crumbs everywhere, absolutely disgusting AC vent(you can see the particales coming out of it in the sunlight) toilet clogged, no hand soap, stains all over the chairs and lamps, cracks in the wall, MOLD IN THE BATHROOM EVERYWHERE. and the fridge is like 65 degrees. Please for the love of god find a different place if you want a...

The only positive things was intial encounter with Mr. Rosario is was very nice and assisted me room due elevator being down and I was alone with my young daugheter, and the free breakfast. Disliked · Rooms sheets had stains, carpet floors dirty, room not thoroughly cleaned, horrible mildew smell, possible mold in bathroom. Dust on everything. Was advertised and paid for a room with fridge and microwave they was trying to charge me an extra 32 more for this when all issues I had to deal with in first room including no working elevator. I have a bad neck and back and had to carry things up and down stairs. The worst part was the run around the manager Emmanuel was giving me regarding up graded my room. One minute he told to take everything out of room the and that by the time I came back from buying snacks now drinks for the kids, my new room should be ready I came back he said was wasn't ready, then he was l lieing that he couldn't upgrade the room. I already was told I would have, because another manager needed to override the fee supposedly. But yet still made it seem we was getting to change rooms. Manager has no backbone and gave me around about upgrading room. We selected a room that had microwave and fridge. I didn't want to spend money eating out alot and then he made me take everything out only to have to bring to same exact room which was very difficult. The pool looked dirty and stagnant. Ice machine on our floor out of order. Honestly never again! Place needs to be completely revamped, only good thing was breakfast and a couple of friendly staff members. Manger does know what he is doing, no standards and does not know how to communicate effectively with guest, the whole run around he gave me and lack of accountability for things he can address but didn't is beyond the frustration of having to deal with the room itself, I couldn't even give my daughter a bathe the tub was disgusting. The pics in their ads are not at all what you get, don't even think is the same hotel, FALSE ADVERTSING! Wish I would've thoroughly check the reviews, NEVER AGAIN!

Absolutely Disgusting Stay – Avoid at All Costs We stayed at La Quinta because we landed late at night and needed a pet-friendly hotel nearby. This was the only option available, so we booked two rooms and checked in around 3 AM. From the moment we walked in, the place was filthy. Both rooms reeked of cigarette smoke, and the overall condition was unsettling. The shower faucets in both rooms were leaking constantly, and none of us (a family of eight) even felt comfortable enough to use the showers. We just tried to get a few hours of sleep before checking out. About 30 minutes after we left, my dad mentioned he felt itchy and had been bitten during the night. Then I noticed bedbugs crawling on my dog – I picked off twelve. I immediately called the hotel and was transferred to a manager named Lila. I approached the conversation calmly, but she quickly became rude and defensive, raising her voice and denying responsibility since we had already checked out. She suggested it must have been our fault, which felt like an attempt to gaslight us rather than addressing the issue properly. She claimed that because it was the weekend, there wasn’t much nothing she could do and had to talk to the general manager. When I followed up on Monday, she claimed they “did a test and it came back negative.” I find this extremely hard to believe – we had just come off a flight, stayed less than 8 hours, and had bedbugs crawling on us and our pet. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Between the dirty rooms, poor service, and the bedbug infestation, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere – especially if you value cleanliness, safety, and basic respect from management. I’m not sure how to upload videos but here are some photos.

I stayed here during a short layover, and unfortunately, this experience was disappointing from start to finish. First, the website clearly advertised a free shuttle, which was a major reason I booked. But when I called to schedule it, I was told no such shuttle existed. I had to spend $25 on Ubers to get to and from the airport—an unexpected and frustrating expense. Prior to booking, I also called the hotel directly to confirm I could check in at 8am and explained I would only be there for four hours to sleep. They said it wouldn’t be an issue. However, upon arrival, I was charged an additional $60 for early check-in—on top of the $90 I already paid for the room. That’s $150 for a short nap. The room itself was in poor condition. The bathroom was especially bad: cracked and peeling caulking around the tub and counter, visible mildew, and outdated fixtures. The beds were old and uncomfortable, with visible body indentations from years of use. Definitely not what you expect at a national chain hotel. Breakfast was the final let down—powdered eggs, stale bagels, and coffee that tasted like it had been sitting for hours. To make matters worse, I realized I could have booked a day rate at the Hyatt inside Orlando Airport for just $30 more, which would have offered a significantly cleaner, more modern, and more convenient stay—with no Uber costs or surprise fees. Between the misleading amenities, extra charges, poor room condition, and subpar food, I can confidently say I will never stay here again. I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel near MCO.
