If I could rate this a zero, I most certainly would. This place is horrible due to their staff nobody’s ever at the front desk which someone should always be at the desk at least during normal business hours! The rooms weren’t thoroughly cleaned had cobwebs, old stains on one of the beds. Still didn’t try to complain because it’s a cheap hotel. But the staff are not friendly or polite. They have no good customer service/hospitality whatsoever. Just Horrible!! I recently stayed here & I must say the young guy at the front desk is very knowledgeable & resourceful with helping with checking in & out the hotel & also helping his coworkers that aren’t so knowledgeable, maybe need to put him in charge to train or rehire better staff. I currently stayed here because I’m a traveling nurse. One of the managers seemed bothered when I acquired for some assistance. I recently had arrived to the hotel coming from work, to see that my hotel door was opened. I went to the lobby no one was there had to keep ringing the bell. A woman who’s an housekeeper had to call the front desk receptionist who said he’s a manager for him to come down to assist me. I had to wait about 10 mins & he told me that I can call the police to tell them that my room has been broken into, but it’s nothing else this hotel can do. I said ok! Then I asked him what’s the regional managers phone number & can I have a wash cloth & towel & fresh set of linen (pillowcases, fitted, and comforter blanket), the guy was sighing and being so unprofessional like I’m bothering him & this is his job. He went to the back and bought me all pillowcases, nothing else that I’d asked for. I talked to him in a well manner, while he began to get irate & hostile. He said that I’m being a problem and he’s going to call the cops on me and kick me out of his hotel, yelling at me to pack my bags & leave his property. He also was being condescending, saying he doesn’t know what the rooms consist of and he doesn’t know what a comforter or blanket is, but yet he stated he’s a manager. He was racial profiling me, tried to make a statement as I would steal the hotel’s linen & talked to me like i was trash, instead of a valued customer! He was very hostile and I felt fearful with how he kept coming from behind the desk like he was going to approach me, yelling at me & acting unseemly. He tried to humiliate and demeanor my character. All this transpired because I asked for fresh linen & the regional manager’s phone number !! It’s a shame that Wyndham would affiliate themselves with this unruly & unprofessional place!!! I would not recommend this place because it’s not clean & none of the workers want to do their jobs or you have staff that aren’t knowledgeable in simple things like printing you a receipt upon...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE!!! We drove 7 hours to enjoy Rausch Creek Offroad Park and had confirmed reservations. We arrived to a locked lobby and no room. We tried the after hours number listed on the door and it was disconnected. We called Wyndham Corporate and they tried multiple time to get ahold of the management of the hotel with no luck. We spent over an hour trying to reach someone at the hotel multiple ways and couldn't so we had to find another hotel for the night. We stopped in the next day and although the lobby was now unlocked we couldn't find anyone to talk to. We left a voice message and never received a call back.
THEY CHARGED US FOR 2 ROOMS AND EXPEDIA AND WYNDAM CORPORATE HAVE TRIED TO GET THE CHARGES REVERSED WITH NO LUCK.
The hotel is not your typical nice Wyndham. They even have a webcam with a computer screen that is always watching the lobby but nobody working the lobby or answering the screen at the webcam. It's just watching you walk around trying to find someone. It's so unusual.
I barely ever post reviews but I'll be doing so everywhere on this place until they make right on reversing the charges to my card. We had absolutely NO WAY of getting into our rooms when we arrived and once again, the phone number provided on the door was disconnected. AND Wyndham Reservations tried and couldn't get...
Read moreI don’t normally do this however I am extremely bothered by how this hotel handled my situation when I was trying to cancel with a full refund the day that we were supposed to check in. My family and I planned an overnight trip and booked the Baymont by Wyndham in Pine Grove. I spoke with Mike Peson about why we had to cancel that it was due to the extreme weather and the inability to get to their location. Mike had said that he will note the reservation that it had to be cancelled due to inclement and severe thunderstorms. Told me to then contact Priceline if I wanted the refund since that was how it was booked. I called Priceline right after my conversation with Mike Peson. Priceline said they will call the hotel and confirm my conversation and if it gets confirmed they will refund the money. Priceline put me on hold and when they got back on the line told me that Mike said unfortunately he can’t refund my money now. I called Mike back and asked him why he told me one thing and Priceline something different. He couldn’t answer me other then put me on hold to see if he could do something. Only suggestion is that if u are looking in the Pine Grove area for a hotel don’t even consider this one even if they are half the price of the others.
Stay away from them they...
