This place does not even deserve 1 star. I parked for my 34 here and went to take a shower and when I say they do not clean the showers at all I mean not at all. Now I know the little that pilots do far as wipe a shower down with a towel and a rag isn't cleaning either but this place doesn't touch it at all. I was walked to the shower and passed 2 dirty showers with towels on the sink. I get to the last shower and had to ask is this clean. Now I always bring a spray bottle with me with bleach and Awesome mixed to do my own touch ups but I was so disgusted my spray bottle would not help this shower room. This shower room needs a scrub brush. The caked on dirt on the shower floor was ridiculous. It is mold on the ceilings, piss on the toilet seats. I was in there 2 minutes and walked out and what do I see...him putting fresh towels in the showers he didn't even clean. It's bad enough I have to soak my feet on my home time from the carelessness of the so called cleaning people who claim they clean these truck stop showers but I feel like I probably would have been going to the emergency room due to a staff infection if I...
Read moreThis place is getting worse. Cheaper each time with everything. Dinner moved across the street, rest rooms is cold so seats are cold. Even the water from the spiket is cold. Hot water kills germs and viruses. The employees keep things clean but the owner(s) need to stop being so cheap. Even the paper towels are as if it's gold putting out small straps of paper at a time. 2022 a few years later and things still haven't changed. The diner that used to be in the truck stop moved across the street, now they have a Subways. About the only positive thing is that they finally got their head out of there a$$ and made the entrance from the other side so now the old entrance is the exit. Which makes a lot more sense considering the traffic used to get backed up to the highway just to get to the fuel pumps. Obviously the owners are like SLUM LANDLORDS they only spend money when they...
Read moreSo we stopped for icecream and gas. Got neither.
We walked in to the food area, to the Dairy Queen section. No employee there, but subway and auntie Ann's had staff. So we waited. No one acknowledged us, and when we asked if DQ was open (it was) the staff said they didn't know. I went to the convince counter and asked. I was told "yeah, someone is back there. It's open." I told them we had been standing there for a while, the other staff said they didn't know if anyone was working and we would like icecream. The THREE staff persons at the counter looked at a clip board and agreed, someone was there because "it was written on the schedule." I could see the DQ area from the counter, no one was there. They could not grasp that there was a difference between the magic clip board and reality. We left and...
