Motel Max LLC — Hotel in Pineville

We first wrote a review on this location around June of 2013 . We were very pleased with the room ,the staff and the price. I am not sure what happened to it as it was the very first review on this motel.|| We were back down in this area again this past Fri the 11th of April.|| We arrive roughly at 9 PM and got a room|| The staff was as nice this time as they were before.|| I am not sure if the gentleman that lives there is the owner or not but know he was there last year and did remember us|| The rooms are clean with a lot of space to move around in ,they have a microwave and fridge and the amenities that you will find in other motels|| We did not see any roaches or any other bugs || The prices are very reasonable and easy in and out|| I really think if you give this Motel Max a chance you will find it meets your...

We were traveling late and were very tired, it was about 2:30am and we happened by this motel. It looked nice so we stopped to see if we could get a room. The door had a sign with late night instructions to check for a room so I called the number listed. We were able to quickly get a room. The room was decent and clean, it had a microwave, mini fridge, small coffee maker with good coffee. The bathroom had the toilet and bathtub/shower & the sink was separate with ample counter space. Our only complaint is the comforters on the 2 beds looked like the needed to be laundered better & the fitted sheet on 1 bed needed to be laundered better, all for small stain removal. Because of its location our family has stayed at Motel Max monthly for almost 2 years. Well, this past visit will be our last.||||I was woken in the early morning by a roach crawling on my arm. When I got up and moved my suit case (which was on the bed), 4 roaches crawled out from under it. ||||We were reserved to stay there another night. I'm not a squeamish person, but I knew there was no way I'd get any sleep with the insects, so I asked to cancel. They charged us a $50 cancellation fee (almost full price).||||Yes, I know we were passed the check out time when we cancelled, but the staff knows us by name, we were there so often. I understand insect infestations happen, and hotels need a chance to deal with it, but I wouldn't have written this review if they wouldn't have charged us so much to...
