Wow!!! This place is beautiful! We drove up a long driveway lined with trees in full bloom. Mary Beth, one of the hostesses, greeted us on the front porch. She was so sweet and had such a bubbly personality, we immediately felt right at home. From the moment you walk in, this place is absolutely perfect! It smells wonderful, like some kind of pineapple scent. The common areas, which consist of a living room, library, huge foyer and breakfast room, are bright and airy and exceptionally clean. There are beautiful fresh flower arrangements and plenty of snacks and beverages throughout. Many of the walls are a lovely mint green (my favorite color) and everything is decorated impeccably. There are books for guests to peruse in the library or you can watch TV or indulge in a game of checkers in the living room. Make sure you seek out the photo albums in the library so you can see all the work that has been done! The room was beautifully decorated and so pretty. The bathroom has a jetted tub and stand alone walk in shower with the most soft, luxurious towels ever! There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and a closet in the room with a fan, ironing board and iron and extra blankets just in case. The owners have thought of everything! The beds are soooo comfortable, and we had the most restful night's sleep away from home ever! It is so quiet and peaceful there. The inn is gorgeous at night, all lit up and there are battery op candles in all the windows. The grounds are beautiful and I can only imagine how gorgeous they will be when everything is in full bloom. Breakfast during the week is at your own pace. There are plenty of things to choose from-baked goods, granola bars, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, milk, fruit juices. The breakfast room is even open 24 hours a day in case you get hungry any other time of the day. There is also a refrigerator off of the breakfast room for guests to store their own personal food. If you are thinking of making a reservation at Biddle Point, just do it! You will not be...
Read moreThis place is remarkable. The more you look around, the more charming touches you’ll find. Our room was a single queen. It had a gas fireplace, desk by the window, reading chairs and table by a bigger window, bedside tables and a huge armoire with a TV in the top part. Even the walls were a pretty seafoam green. They also have free Wi-Fi. The bathroom has whimsical wallpaper, a large sink, plenty of towels, bath products and both a glass shower and a whirlpool tub… big enough to share. The baseboard has cute little pedestals in the corners, and the high ceilings have wood molding to match the baseboards. When we came in the door, there were three-foot pedestal moldings at the wall corners so you don’t run into anything sharp. Even the lamp stands are lovely, with stacked glass balls. And you’ll find little glass balls hanging from the bottoms of some of the wall sconces like drops of water about to fall. Breakfast, while not extraordinary, was completely adequate. The downstairs part of the house has a piano (that needs tuning) and many lovely places to curl up and read or just visit with others. The house has the feel of an old homestead but is obviously either brand new or completely restored. And that’s just the inside. Wait ‘till you get a look at their front yard. Wow. Then there’s the gazebo and the porch. There’s are too many charming touches to mention in one review. So go see for yourself. You’ll be glad you stayed at...
Read moreExcellent I travel to Plymouth frequently for business. I had a bad experience at one of the motels here and was looking for accommodations that were closer than Warsaw or Southbend. I googled and found Biddle Point and my company approved the stay. The innkeepers are very nice. They will accommodate you regardless of how late you arrive if you maKe arrangements in aDvance. They have accessible entry ways. The renovation is almost complete, with a few rooms left on the lower level. Everything that I have seen is stunning. I am staying in the in the cow room (it has cow paintings) and it is bright, warm, and beautiful. They use single use Nest toiletries. Nest is great, but I would like to see mounted multi use products, which are more sustainable. I would also like to see a recycle bin for their water bottles, which are #1's. Food is not allowed in the rooms, which is great. They do have a large refrigerator next to the breakfast room available for guest use and a microwave to heat your leftovers. There is a wine bar/restaurant that isn't quite open yet in the back. I am excited to see it when they do open it. I am very pleased with this inn and I am looking forward to...
