Absolutely awesome. Theyre not afraid to give good portions of meat, cheese, or anything else. Theyre kind and keep the Facebook updated if theyre closed or not. Almost never gets my order wrong, legit almost never, no matter how difficult it is. The restaurant is decorated well. The food is awesome. (Carry out soda isnt worth the money at $2.50 for a 22oz. Rest is worth the money though. No worries there).
I stress eat a ton so DoorDash will probably be the death of me, but I order from Mi Camino's a lot. I've been working on creating the Ultimate Stress Meal (R). They very kindly comply with all my little notes of a little extra this, change that, none of this. Never complaining of annoyance which Im sure it is sometimes (Im sorry). Last one was a little note of the Beef Nachos, replacing chips for rice. They jokingly wrote a little note in response that its not nachos anymore without chips but they comply nicely (many times. you guys are lovely). So this time I left a little extra in the notes explaining about my plan of making the Ultimate Stress Meal (R). They not only complied, they went above and beyond! It was the BEST meal of Mexican food I've ever had and it totally made my whole day (and tomorrow too since its a lot of food). Dealing with my parent's divorce, C19 draining my savings, and my new job taking over a position with minimal training and high stakes if I mess up ... the kindness means the world to me. Yall are amazing. And if this meal ends up on the menu, Ill order it every time without fail.
(Beef Nachos, replace the chips with rice. 3 Beef burritos, little sauce, topped with cheese. Eat the extra rice, beef, and cheese with the side of chips and salsa they always give you. Its a ton of food and doesnt sound very fancy, but its a stress meal fit for a king thatll last me 2 days of meals. Plus they have some A La Carte and dessert options if you want to spice it up your own way). //The picture below is a tin thats like 1.5 inches deep, just for context//
Yall are amazing. Thank you so much for your kindness. I hope the review helps boost yall up....
Read moreMy bf and I are in plymouth for a few weeks working. We both love mexican food and decided to go. We were sat immediately, atmosphere seemed very alive and fun. They brought the chips and salsa and hate to say but salsa tasted a little sweet and there was not a whole lot of flavor to it, except the black pepper, usually if you have good ingredients in salsa you do NOT need black pepper in it. Our waiter took our drink and food order and brought back our cheese dip which temperature wise was barely warm. We did not have to wait long on our food at all which was nice but he never came back one time to check on us, we were wanting dessert, had to take our glasses to get our own refills, had to go ask someone for a box and cashier had to go find him to get our check. We had the fajitas with shrimp, chicken and beef, it was mostly chicken and only 2 pieces of shrimp and very bland tasting. I was really suprised seeing how there were nothing but good reviews of the place but I would never recommend or go back. And I would've looked past some of the things but they weren't busy at all...
Read moreUnfortunately our experience was horrible. We made reservations for a party of around 20 a week in advance. A few of us arrived early (20 mins) just to make sure everything was ok. they had not begun to set up. We believe we only had one waiter for all of us. drinks ran dry, food was served randomly not together. But the worse thing was the temperature. It was nearly 80 degrees in the party room. Only got worse as more people arrived and started mingling. the A/C was out or they refused to turn it on. when the check arrived it was a small order taking booklet with a grand total circled. No itemized statement of what was ordered or charged. I asked if the tip was included-no one knew. First and last time at this establishment. No one bothered to speak with us about any of us about how ill prepared they were, how some people ate nearly an hour before the last people. Embarrassing...
