No stars .but it made me pick 1. ..the sheets on the bed were USED..and then we saw young teenage girls carrying sheets up to the rooms the next morning...they might be cleaning rooms too. Housekeepers don't wear uniforms and the manager was of no help. Fairfield Inn promises satisfaction guaranteed but nothing was done to help except they washed sheets after 10pm so I could have a clean set around midnight. That's when I got the opportunity to go to sleep after making my own bed in the dirty room that I paid $211 for. No Fairfield Inn will ever get my business again. Horrible customer service and I received nothing but lied claiming that something would be done and then that nothing could be done.

We were traveling with my elderly mother to SC. She is in a wheelchair and also deaf. We needed a place to stay last-minute due to Mom not feeling well. Pulled up hotels on my phone; called 2 before calling Fairfield Inn. Tammy was very friendly and calm; as I was in a state of panic. They had a handicap room available! Thank goodness!! The room was very nice and clean. The shower was perfect for Mom. The beds were very comfy as were the pillows. They offer Showtime, HBO and YouTube for free. Netflix is also available, just sign in with your account info. In the morning, they offer complimentary breakfast! Which was really wonderful!! I would definitely stay here again!

This place is so nice and New! I have stayed here twice now and it is super CLEAN!!! The whole place spotless and quiet. It has a great indoor pool and super good free breakfast. I have stayed in the suites and regular room and they are both super nice and clean! The beds are super comfy and the hotel is nice and quiet so you clean sleep away. The location is great for all different food choices all around it and Walmart if you need anything. So this place rates 10 out of 10 with me! I would definitely recommend staying here!!!!!

Left me start by saying I rarely if ever leave a google review but this time Im going to. I am a very loyal Marriott customer and I have stayed here several times since it was built a few years ago. Always very clean, well kept with a very nice staff. Unfortunately my last stay here was not so good. When checking in the desk clerk was sitting outside talking on their cell phone so I had to wait for him to check me in. I walked right by him and he never acknowledged me so I thought he was a customer. When I got to the front desk there was no one there and the phone was ringing off the hook. After a few minutes the guy I past walked outside walks in and asked me if I needed to check in. Mind you I was pulling a suit case and standing at the front desk. LOL!!

At check in I ask same clerk if my rewards number was on the stay and he said yes without ever even looking. Come to find out it was not which started this whole issue. He gave me my key with no holder or room number so I asked for one and he told me I did not need one. I said well how do you expect me to know what room I’m staying in. He huffed and gave me a key holder with the room number. Called back several times to try to resolve rewards issue and each time I have been told I needed to speak with the mgr who has been busy each time I have called. After leaving 3-4 messages and no one calling me back I tried one more to today. This time I encountered an extremely rude desk clerk who hung up on me after I told her I would hold for the mgr. She told me she was on the other line so I said I will hold for her. She kept telling me she was busy and to leave a message and they would call me back. I said well she has 3-4 messages and has not called back yet so I will just hold. She hung up on me. LOL!! Tried calling back several times with no answer. Just rings and rings. Personally I will never stay here again and do not recommend anyone else staying here until the improve there staff and customer service issues. I’m currently trying to reach out to locate the owner. They need to know how their customers are...

We’re a military family with nine kids needing to travel. We had two rooms. It was hands down the worst hotel experience we’ve had in a long time and most of our travel lodging happens at bare bones military facilities.

The problem was the air conditioner. The breakfast was not accessible for us because not much food was out and two children were coughing loudly which felt unsafe during covid so we just left and bought breakfast elsewhere but that’s not a big deal compared to the air conditioner problems.

I’m each of the rooms the a/c unit would shut itself every hour or so. The room would heat up very quickly once it was off so every hour in each room all night long we would wake up all sweaty and have to get the air conditioner running again. It was so hot and stuffy in the room that our youngest daughter, who has down syndrome, wound up with a heat rash that made her miserable in her car seat for an entire day of driving.

We have a Marriott membership and normally look for them so we can accumulate free nights but after this experience if we do stay at another Marriott owned property, which we’re already scheduled to and are now thinking of changing, we will have to add the extra step of calling ahead to ask if the air conditioners have timers that cause them to shut off while you’re sleeping.

We did call down to the front desk during the night to ask if the a/c unit was set to do this and if there was a work around but there wasn’t anything they could do. Upon checkout we brought it up to the lady at the front desk who shrugged and said that’s how it is. The way she said it gave me the feeling that this is a frequent complaint.

I know electricity is expensive and we all want to save the environment but depriving paying guests of the use of the air conditioner in the middle of summer is not the way to go...

UPDATE: 4/22/25 I’ve been staying at this location long-term for the past 7 months, and I can confidently say it’s been a great experience overall. The hotel is consistently clean, well-maintained, and the staff has always been friendly and accommodating throughout my stay.

Most recently, I had an issue with my final folio, and Carla T. went above and beyond to help me resolve it. Her professionalism and willingness to assist truly stood out and made a stressful situation much easier to manage.

Thank you to the entire team for providing such reliable service and a comfortable stay for all these months. Highly recommend this location for both short and long-term stays!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites in Princeton, WV, and I can't say enough good things about the experience!

I’d like to give a special shout-out to their Assistant Manager, Anthony, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable and seamless as possible. His professionalism, warm demeanor, and willingness to assist made a world of difference. From the moment I arrived, Anthony's dedication to excellent service was apparent. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and Anthony sets the bar high!

The overall ambiance of the hotel was incredibly welcoming. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and attentive, making me feel right at home.

Thank you Anthony and to the entire team for creating such a valuable and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be recommending this location to others and look forward to my next...
