The only good thing is that they are very close to Worlds of Fun, so it was convenient, and there was a fridge in the room. We reserved two rooms, which the website said would accommodate 4 and 5 people, respectively. Both rooms were the same, with two beds that were barely full sized and no other furniture (none that one could sit/lay on). The rooms were not clean when we arrived and the sheets were stained. The rooms were not stocked for four people. There was one partial roll of toilet paper and no kleenex. There was one full-sized towel, one bathmat-sized towel, and one hand towel. There were no washcloths. When we asked for more towels, we were told, "we do not have towels today." They did not clean or restock the rooms while we were checked in. I've never stayed in a hotel/motel that didn't have a hair dryer, iron/ironing board, coffee/coffee maker, or toiletries in the room. These rooms had none of those things. The website says they offer breakfast. "Breakfast" is pre-packaged, sugary muffins and a bottle of Sunny Delight. Those items aren't set out, you have to...
Read moreOur stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The room had motion sensor lights that turned on with any movement — making it nearly impossible to sleep peacefully. On top of that, the exhaust fan made a loud, screeching noise every time the bathroom light came on, which added to the disruption.
The bathroom door knob was broken and wouldn’t close, there was only one towel provided for two guests, and the pillows were completely flat. The room also had a musty smell, and the AC was off when we arrived — not ideal after a long overnight drive. Walking into a hot, stuffy room was the last thing we needed.
To make matters worse, the area didn’t feel safe, with some sketchy activity right outside. As two women in our mid-20s, we didn’t feel comfortable requesting a room change in the middle of the night, so we just stuck it out.
Unfortunately, this experience was a complete miss. We would absolutely not...
Read moreI have been coming to this place for over a year. When it was motel6 I was NEVER. charged for my chihuahua staying with me in fact that is the main reason I chose to stay at this location. My dog is house trained and never urinated or otherwise in any room I stayed in here. Now it is Days Inn and now they charge $25 NON REFUNDABLE PER NIGHT FEE FOR PETS. That is just ridiculous and so the room for two nights DIDNT COST ME $164 like it said when I made my reservation it cost me $214!!!!!! I spend a lot of my hard earned money staying here and it isn’t like there is any great amenities there is no pool no breakfast no vending machines and the rooms are very outdated. I WILL NOT BE BACK AND THANK YOU DAYS INN FOR COSTING ME ANOTHER $50 than what you said it would cost when I made my reservation. You just lost a great customer by doing this, not good business...
