My husband and I got married here at The Inn and could not have been happier with the overall experience. We chose to make a full weekend of it by having rehearsal friday evening, staying overnight into wedding day on saturday, and staying the night again. We had our rehearsal dinner, morning of breakfast, reception, and breakfast the morning after at The Inn all cooked by the chef in house.
Everything was perfect, however this review has to start with the owner and host, Dennis. Dennis made our entire weekend absolutely wonderful, he went above and beyond to make our day special. He was extremely attentive to detail and acted as a coordinator for the day as he knows The Inn the best. Working with him was exceptional, and all of our guests commented on how special he made the evening. Without him we would not have had a fraction of the experience we did. The staff at The Inn were just as wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful and also looked like they were enjoying the day with us. They helped create an amazing weekend for us and we couldn't have been happier.
Our food was absolutely amazing. The chef, Ron, was able to create such an insane menu for us on our wedding day but also for all of the events we had in addition to our reception. Dennis and Chef Ron do an amazing job of guiding you to create meals that are versatile and flavorful that they deliver without flaw. We have 4 meals in total for our time here and they all were perfection.
The Inn is located in a gorgeous neighborhood across from Centre Park. It is minutes from West Reading and The Double Tree where we had our guests stay.
The Inn itself is like nothing you'll find elsewhere for a wedding venue. The building itself has all its original beauty and has been preserved so well. It has a special feeling to it that not everywhere can deliver to you for a wedding day. We truly felt like our wedding was a magical special day that we and our guests will never forget based on the unique and intentional choices made to create something that was not inside the wedding box of today. Dennis and his team go above and beyond to make your day special and help you create something memorable for the rest...
Read moreAfter failing to write a proper review for over a week now, I've decided to present an "appreciation".
The Inn at Centre Park, with it's architecture and history, is an amazing landmark. I, personally, found myself continually in a sense of awe. From it's stained glass works of art, to it's folding wooden shutters, I found myself thoroughly impressed with every turn.
"A picture is worth a 1,000 words". Timeless and true as this saying may be, how does one encapsulate or capture "sincerity"? I could provide this review with both pictures and video of every corner, and yet, I would still have ignored the very essence to be found at The Inn at Centre Park. Never before have my wife and I felt so welcome and invited. The imperative message I wish to convey with this appreciation is as follows:
As you look at the accommodations offered by The Inn at Centre Park, although they may be the initial deciding factor to stay there, it will not take long after your arrival to see that the Inn itself is indeed secondary. The Inn will get you there, Dennis will make you wish you could stay longer. Dennis is authentic in his hospitality. My wife and I have met friendly and courteous people in our travels, this is not uncommon within the service industry. The uniqueness of our experience at the Inn was that Dennis made us feel as though he was personally invested in our stay. Which is obvious to say he was, he owns the place...but it was something more and difficult to articulate.

Read moreMy boyfriend and I stayed at The Inn this past weekend. We were attending an event at Santander Arena and wanted something close to the event and found this wonderful B & B. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner/operator, Dennis who was very welcoming, accommodating and gracious. He gave us a tour and the history of the home and then showed us to our room.|The Parkview, which is one of three rooms offered. Ours was the smallest, BUT very spacious. Dennis did give us the opportunity to view on of the other rooms, I believe it is called The Wilhelm. That was beautiful as well with a sitting room, claw tub and separate shower. Once inside our room he pointed out the amenities of the room such as the refrigerator, and an electric fireplace should we want more heat. The bathroom was charming with the old fashioned claw tub, beautiful wood blinds, wood molding/trim throughout, it’s like stepping back in time. The bed was a king and very comfortable. At the time of check in we were asked what time we would like breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. A fresh fruit plate with a variety of melons and strawberries which was delicious. Beverages were your choice of juices and freshly brewed coffee. And then waffles with your choice of fresh toppings. We had a very pleasant stay and will be definitely like to stay there if we are in Reading again. Thank you Dennis for your...
