I honestly don’t know where to begin. We came here by mistake; and should have stuck with our guts to just leave and go somewhere else. This “hotel” is an absolute travesty. The air conditioning doesn’t work. It blows mildly cooler air than what’s already around the room. We’re all sweating. The television doesn’t work. When we asked the front desk about the TV, they literally responded with “don’t you know what a satellite is?” — quote verbatim. “It’s raining so it’s not going to work”. The bath towels ALL have hair on them. Seeing that the beds both have multiple stains in them, I thought we could use the towels to lay on. Nope, the beds and towels are equally disgusting. My children are in tears trying to stay the night here. They’re overheated because of the faulty air conditioning. Repulsed by the bedding because of the stains and smell. They’re scared because the all of the issues in this detestable excuse for a room that offers zero level of comfort. It’s filthy. It’s totally overheated. We can’t even be distracted by the sound of a TV to help us sleep in this slummy hole. I’m honestly shocked at how absolutely poor and disgusting this hotel is. Do NOT listen to the front desk when they tell you the other hotels in the area are worse. They already know what “worse” is and sell it to you for $80 per night. THIS was eighty dollars?? THIS?! The Hairy Towel Inn? The Overheated Resort? I’m hoping my car is safe in the morning while my children and I get eaten by unrecognizable insects in our sleep. Never, ever, have I been so repulsed by an attempt at ‘hospitality’. As a father, I’m truly embarrassed that I’ve brought our children here. I’m utterly stunned at the lack of cleanliness, tact, and responsibility at this rotting,...
Read morethis is a horrible place. Do not stay here and waste even a dollar with them. This place is very shady. First issue they have Roaches, second issue I paid to stay for just one week after a couple days of being there I asked if housekeeping can come to my room they told me no they only provide housekeeping once a week, which means they only provide housekeeping once somebody checks out of a room. Third issue I asked for more towels and was told I can request housekeeping items between 9am and 5pm I called after 9 and called several times to get clean towels and never received them and didn’t even get an excuse as to why I didn’t get them. Nobody works in a lobby you just check in through a kiosk and speak to somebody through there. I didn’t see any workers. Anybody can access the lobby or building because it isn’t a secured building. The electricity is bogus. A lot of the lights in the room didn’t work. Ice machine on your floor don’t work. They don’t provide nothing but a bed, fridge and microwave. No clock coffee breakfast nothing. I left early because I had so many issues and was not happy. They wouldn’t refund me and made up a lie saying it’s because I had a pet and failed to tell them. I don’t even own a pet. I’ve called and went up to this hotel several times to speak to a manger and can’t even speak to no one. Very shady don’t go here. I even broke out with a bad rash on my neck this place is dirty, and smells dirty. It needs bad remodeling they just bought the old Howard Johnson and changed nothing about it literally and just start accepting customers to make money. Do not go here!!!! I will be contacting the better business bureau and the health department because this place needs to be...
Read moreThere was only one person on duty our entire stay. Check in was done remotely through a kiosk. The smoke detector was chirping when we got in and after being on hold for 15 minutes with the front desk I was connected to someone probably at a call center who said they would notify whoever was on duty. Nobody came to address the issue. The rooms were filthy, grime on the walls, the phone and switches felt greasy. There was the head of a cartridge razor under the bathroom sink. The floor also felt sticky, so we didn't walk in the room barefoot. Despite our room being a non-smoking room it still smelled like smoke because of the people smoking 15' from the patio door. The next day we had tiny insect bites on our arms and found a bedbug when we got home. The exterior doors to the hotel were completely unlocked and open to the public. One of our door keys quit working halfway...
