shower floor and bathroom floor were visibly dirty. Shower glass door kept sliding open on its own (not level or worn out mechanism, and water pressure was worst I've ever seen in a hotel. Bathroom door slides and has no way to lock it so having a kid in a double queen room with you means no privacy while using the toilet or showering behind the completely transparent glass shower doors. Desk was pretty unusable as the desk chair, if occupied, completely blocked any access half the room. Air conditioning was excellent. Pillows were terrible flat and under-stuffed. TV was nice and big and smart capability was great. Wifi was good. Breakfast food was just ok but everything in the café area was very clean, well stocked, and actively being cleaned by a very present and attentive staff member. Pool was small but looked nice, however the pool area was kept way too hot, it was like a sauna. Elevators and halls were clean. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Room was quiet even in fully booked condition so that was great. I appreciated that the doors closed quietly compared to the very loud doors at holiday inn. Trash bag in room trash can was not as deep as the trash can which caused it to fall down into the can making the liner useless after discarding a single item. Shower head was high that was great. Towels were nice and new looking, not worn out. Bedding wasn't wrinkled badly like holiday inn which suggested laundry staff was not overloading the machines which means cleaner sheets. Bed was ok not great, a little worn out and sunken in. No bugs. Adequate and convenient lighting throughout. Priced too high for amenities probably won't stay again or recommend. **(Paid about $500 for 2 night stay in a double queen non suite room with fridge and microwave labor...
Read moreThis is easily the best hotel I've ever stayed at (and my family travels quite often). We were traveling home from an overnight race that my husband was in and felt too sleepy to drive home (we also had 2 small kids with us) after having been up all night. We just got off the highway at the nearest exit and this was the first hotel we came upon. Horinder (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was so kind, patient and helpful. I understood that we were checking in around noon so we'd have to pay extra for an early check-in but we had no choice, it was for our safety that we not continue driving. She got us set up with a room and as we were getting ready to rest, she gave us a call and said that she explained our situation to the manager and they agreed not to charge us the additional fee. She did NOT have to do that, but I appreciated her kindness and thoughtfulness so much. This hotel is so clean, the breakfast was FANTASTIC and there was a lot of space to work if you were traveling on business. It is very safe and nearby to a lot of places to eat (we door-dashed some dinner). I would stay here...
Read moreAs Hampton Inns age, they have become hit or miss for us and we try to book newer Hilton properties when available. After reading the reviews, we decided to try this location and are extremely glad we did. The hotel is great. It is clean, modern and has a great layout. The staff (mostly) were great. They were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was normal Hampton fare, but there was plenty of food and it was hot. We did not use the gym or pool. |I would have rated this a 5, but the exception to this wonderful stay was at checkout. We asked for and were granted a late checkout the night before. When we went to checkout, the clerk told us that there is a $30 fee for late checkout (at least she disclosed it). This used to be a Diamond benefit so I checked and yes, it is another benefit that they took away from us. Since it was not disclosed when we requested it, the clerk removed it but still gave...
