Yesterday I drove through and asked “if I walk here tomorrow can I get service at the walk up window?” And the girl who took my order confidently said yes.
Today, I walked three miles from my house to 7 brew and was refused service because I wasn’t in a car. First, the group of teens working stood around and stared at us like we were crazy, then we asked a young employee (with a bandana covering his face) if we can order coffee, and he said “uh, we’re kinda busy today so probably not.”
It turns out the walk up window was not in operation. Out of all of the employees standing there, there was no kind of customer service and no offer to put in an order and honor that we walked all the way there. This was incredibly disappointing because I was told explicitly yesterday that I could walk here today and get service.
Staff is seemingly not in communication with each other. I didn’t realize there was a tshirt event going on today, but the girl working yesterday should’ve known if that would close walk-up service. The nice police officers directing traffic even offered to let us cut in line between cars or drive us through in their squad car.
I was excited to be able to have a coffee place to walk to from my house but probably won’t come back because I can’t trust if they’ll serve me when I get here, even if I ask before going and they say they will!
I hate to leave reviews but this situation was so embarrassing and easily avoidable, and we were met with such a bad attitude. I would love clarity on the walk-up window and for staff to be on the same page. Would greatly appreciate if something could be done to fix this situation, and hoping to see service improve...
Read moreIf I could leave no stars no I would. I went to the Huntley location and sat in line off of rt 47 for almost 25 minutes to finally reach the women at the line who I thought was going to take my order. She started off asking me if I came from Route 47 and that if I did that, I had to turn around and go wait in another line which was just as long. So I had waited already 25 minutes to get a coffee just as everyone else. now I was being turned away because I entered off a main rd and waited just as the others did…Where does this make sense? I asked her where are the signs then that state that the line started down at the other end near Walmart and she stated well, that’s not our property and I told her that it shouldn’t matter where I come in from. I waited just as long as the other people did then she told me that this was not her problem and that if I pulled in they weren’t going to serve me. What a way to lose business.
Mind you there was still probably a good 15 cars behind me coming from Route 47 when I reached that point so they turned all of them away as well?. It’s just not good business.
Maybe instead of having 25 employees in that little building, they could spare one for them to go sit on Route 47 and direct the traffic to the correct location for the...
Read moreI used to love coming here to get my coffee. I work nights in the area and was super exited to have a coffee shop that opened late. Their prime and peak was the week of their opening. Their service has been declining ever since. My order has been taken wrong a number of times and we keep letting it go because we don’t want to cause any trouble or give them grief while they are busy. However, we think it’s a disservice to the community to never say anything because they are not learning to be better with time. We keep driving off with our order wrong and them insisting is correct. Today we paid $26 for 3 coffees and 2 of them were wrong. However they think that oat milk and regular milk look the same. It’s frustrating to have things like this happen often when the service and items are not provided for free. We are not expecting a grand gesture, just the coffee being what we...
