Bear Cove Inn — Hotel in Saint Ignace Township

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! We love to stay in St. Ignace when we come up north and usually end up in a chain hotel. We chose the Bear Cove Inn this time for their more reasonable price. The owners were so sweet & attentive, and made sure we loved our room, which was just remodeled be absolutely beautiful! The Wilderness Room! My other half couldn't leave the massage recliner, I was usually bundled under all the quilts. Even the bathroom was gorgeous, right down to the light switch covers, awesome roomy shower stall. There's a big flat screen mounted on the wall, the awesome outdoor "skylight" in the ceiling, lots of counter area, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, firm king bed, and lots of soft pillows. It was pretty snowy and I had a laid a towel between some rugs Bernstein I didn't want any water sitting on the beautiful new wood floors, and the next morning when they came in the spruce up the room they had laid us another rug where the towel was. So thoughtful and caring. Had the best time at our stay this weekend. Can't wait...

We stayed in the only 2 bedroom cottage at Bear Cove, it worked out perfectly. The location is a couple minutes north of the downtown area of St Ignace. Bear Cove was easy to find and we really appreciated that there was beach access to Lake Michigan within walking distance. Way better than staying in a chain hotel. Cute bear theme throughout the cottage, bathroom had a great shower, and we were able to use the kitchen to prepare our own meals when we weren’t out&about. Wi-Fi was a bit choppy. The front porch was a definite plus, I loved sipping coffee out there while watching the funny seagulls. Oh, and the trading post next door was super convenient, excellent beef sticks and...

Awesome interior design, owner's has very good creative design ideas, you can see it at the details of the room, such as nightstand , bathroom, the ceiling of the room, the wall of the room, even the cups are cute.....the garden of the entrance to the hotel's design likes a "Champion Design ". I can't say enough about this gorgeous, beautiful design of this hotel. The most important thing is very very clean, comfy, they even put the massage chair in the room, so ,we can use to rid of out tiredness after we did out activities of the day. The owner is super, I mean super friendly, make you feel like home, we can see ourselves come back again and again to stay...
