PIC Saipan is one of the few places (out of the more than half dozen we visited) along Beach Rd. which actually qualifies as a "resort" in my opinion.

Large open lobby with free wi-Fi. Free wi-FI in the oceanside and nearby rooms.

Large water "park" with large kid's play pool, activities (water sports) pool, "lazy river", waterfalls, etc. Always busy with kids and families.

Laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers, each one taking 75 cents to operate.

Gym with multiple cardio equipment, free weights, etc.

This is one of the few places which offers "king sized" beds, which I discovered was just two double beds pushed together with a thin pillow top... but almost all the other resorts only offer two double beds in all rooms. The beds are very firm, but the pillow-top makes it fair.

Mid-October is supposedly when their tourist season kicks up. We went from early to mid-October and it was bustling nearly all the time.

Different engaging events scheduled in the water park areas every evening.

Playhouse club and activities for kids.

Ping-pong and pool tables in the common area on the lower floor.

Boutiki gift shop on the lower floor has clothes, swimsuits, souvenirs, locally made soaps and goods, drinks and some snacks. Expensive, as with everything.

Fair amount of parking outside, shouldn't be a problem, unlike some of the other resorts, which was surprising.

Amazing view of the sunset from any of the little beach areas around the resort.

Water pressure for the showers, toilets, and sinks is powerful - I loved it.

Housekeeping is very generous with toiletries, towels, room cleaning and anything else you need. No need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Qtips, toothbrush, or paste.

Our standard room had stone / tile floors, a nice sized mini fridge (held eight 2-liter water bottles at once), a small personal safe, bathrobes, slippers, a futon couch, a good sized office desk with pull-out drawers and a flat-screen TV (medium sized), a deep two-drawer chest, an oversized cushioned wicker chair and ottoman. The closet has a built-in organizer with three small lingerie drawers, a shoe cubby at the bottom, a low shelf above the shoes, and plenty of hanger space, as well as a lower cubby which we used to stash our laundry bag.

Room service from The Galley. Menu is limited. Magellan is a buffet restaurant on site. Expensive, in my opinion.

Seaside Grill, Beachside BBQ, and Isla Teppanyaki are other restaurants on site, in the water park area and further back, along the beach - very nice ambiance, especially at night.

My biggest issue during my two week stay here is that I'm vegan and there's damn near nothing offered that doesn't have seafood or meat in it. The buffet foods seemed to be tailored for the Asian visitors (oyster sauces, prawns in the noodles, sushi, small pieces of mysterious fish in the potato and pasta salads). But this is an issue relative to the entirety of Saipan, not specifically PIC. If you're vegan / vegetarian, The Galley has a veggie burger with seasoned fries which are to die for. They also have a fruit platter for breakfast, and a spaghetti dish for lunch / dinner. Magellan has a few options, but not worth the price of the buffet in my experience.

For vegan food outside of PIC, I recommend checking out Ajisen (ramen and rice dishes, curry, etc.), Wild Bill's (dedicated Vegetarian menu, I recommend the Pad Thai, but you'll have to ask for no eggs), The Shack (good amount of vegan options to include vegan cheesecakes, highly recommended for breakfast, brunch, and lunch), or maybe Subway (be aware, their wheat bread is not vegan friendly, ask...

I would love to give the PIC 3.5 stars if I could. The staff are SUPER friendly and they work hard to make the evening activities fun for the entire family. The water park is great for a whole afternoon of fun. The beach area is small but the water is calm+clean+clear for glass bottom kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing (guided) or snorkeling — though there is lots of sea grass in this location so be sure to visit other beaches.

The 1pm or 2pm checkout times (different answers given to our group) are perfect for one last morning at the pool, eating a later lunch, and heading to the airport for an afternoon flight. There are special events for the holidays (like Halloween week with shows and contests) so be sure to look for special event info if staying around a holiday. Not all rates include lunch, dinner, and the Flex pass to visit the other 2 group resorts’ pools and beach — another family in our group told us their discount Expedia booking only included breakfast and could not be upgraded on-site like direct bookings, but our (double their price) Expedia booking DID include the coveted Gold card package.

The room decor and fixtures are dated, the beds are firm, and the swamp-cooler-style A/C left some feeling hot at night while running on high and at the coldest setting. Pool view room is definitely nicer view and not loud. No curtains though, just wood blinds, in case you have issues with morning light bring your sleeping mask! The mini fridge is small and really only can hold the plentiful free water bottles they give you plus a few beers or sodas you buy in the hotel (Travelr) shop.

The Magellan Room buffet had the better food (our opinion) than the other menu-based options and it (and the Pavilion BBQ night) is the only option to include beer and wine with lunch and dinner. Currently there are nights that the Magellan is closed and you have to eat elsewhere. We would suggest Seaside Grill and eating indoors on those nights; the Japanese Tepanyaki restaurant has a $15pp surcharge and was too filled with grill smoke for our comfort. On Thursdays the only option is the outdoor Korean BBQ night at the Pavilion. The food was average for the island resorts (our opinion) and usually had options that pleased everybody in our group.

Pictures of the activities areas are from around 11:30am, and only the main pool is currently open until after lunch when most options become available until 5pm. Hopefully this is not yet back-to-normal operations and hours will improve as visitors from Korea and Japan return in full this winter with...

I brought my daughter here with our family for her 13th birthday, and everyone had an amazing time. It was $45 each, and it included a buffet brunch that was incredible and also the water park in the back with a lazy river, a few water slides, a few pools, a surfing pool, kayaks on the beach. The view was amazing, and the staff were all so very nice and welcoming, whether it was a lifeguard or someone who worked with the food and drinks. We stayed all day, and my daughter felt like it was one of the best birthdays she had ever had. Our smallest family member was 1 year old, and the oldest was 62 years old. And there was something for everyone. At the brunch, the staff even came out with some cheesecake that said Happy Birthday and had my daughter's name, and they sang Happy Birthday to her. She acted embarrassed, but I know that she absolutely loved it 😊 This was our first time in Saipan visiting my brother and his wife (who grew up here) and their baby. And the day we went to PIC was definitely one to remember. Thank you to the amazing staff for a great experience and a great birthday for my daughter!

When booking our room, we were told that 2nd floor was available. Upon checking in, 2nd floor wasn't available. We were told that they only said 2nd floor and above were available. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, which was at the end of the hotel, way too far from the elevator. Upon entering, we found 2 (moths) uninvited guest inside. The only access stairway next to our room was only for going out and not it. We noticed several rooms on 1st floor vacant throughout whole night til morning, even staff confirmed were vacant. Following morning, when confirming if tap water was potable, staff said yes, but doesn't recommend or trust it. Also no hot running water in the shower... front desk staffs need refresher course for hospitality and customer services... however your housekeeping and maintenance staff were awesome... kudos to them for job well done

False advertising for rooms online and just a huge rip off. This hotel is soley destroying the PIC name and hotel experience. I advise guests looking for a great night sleep and joyful experience of Saipan to stay at the Hyatt or Fiesta. Rooms are not well kept and for the price point its outrageous. I personally stayed at the Tasi ocean front view which is priced at $253 upon checkout I was told my rate is $402.50. Not worth it also the beds were hard and falsely advertised as a king size which it was not. The shaving cream bottle did not have any shaving cream and for spending $402.50 I would expect more from a hotel.
