We stayed at this property last summer & were very happy. This year, things appear to have gone down hill significantly. When we walked in, we were immediately met with the overpowering smell of marijuana. We checked in and the hallway seemed ok, but the lobby was awful with that smell. Once we got to our room, we settled in & went to the pool. There were no clean towels in the pool area, so my husband went to the front desk to ask for some. He had to wake up the front desk staff member to ask for towels at 4:30 IN THE AFTERNOON. The pool area seemed ok, however, there was a soiled bandaid that remained on the floor of the pool area for the entirety of our stay. Once we finished in the pool, we went back to our room to shower, etc. I found the shower curtain (white) to have black, greasy hand prints all over one end of it and the shower wall also had these marks. I would have taken it to the front desk, but I had lost confidence in their ability to help us when the staff already had to be woken up once for assistance.
The first morning, breakfast was nearly empty, even with few people in the dining area. The second morning was better kept. Trash, however, was overflowing in all trash cans both days, leaving nowhere to throw our plates after finishing.
On the final morning of our stay, another guests dogs started barking constantly at 6 am until we finally gave up and went to breakfast at 730, but I guess that's not the fault of the hotel, just rude guests.
We will not be returning to this hotel. We like the location and that it's not in the middle of a busy city, but the lack of cleanliness, especially for the amount that we spent is completely...
Read moreFrom the time of check in we were promised the connecting room with the jacuzzi suite. That did not happen. The next day the lady named Stacy was helpful. She got us in the connecting room on second floor. Now this morning I had the worst situation occur. Ryan at the front desk came up to me while I was getting breakfast and yelled at me that he needed to speak with me right then in a very vulgar tone. Confronting me about telling the truth. He was yelling at me this occured several times today. He kept saying rooms were avail then not He yelled again saying my reservation for the new night will not be honored then I asked to stay in the same room. I went down and paid 50 cash and he used 50 off of my card originally asked him to run 75 that didn't happen. Then he needed the other room paid for by 3pm he called the room several times and he hung up and kept doing so. I went down to get the other card I was going to use and he was coming off elevator in which he yelled at me again mind you wasn't even 3 pm yet. He threatened us with police wouldn't let me even speak just spoke over me. And I was trying to call police myself and couldn't even calm down from the disbelief of the treatment that occured. They refused to refund us and made us leave. I stood outside in the rain with our belongings for about 30 mins til a ride came. We have a 7 month old baby whose been sick with a cold. I stood there crying office staff would not run the cameras or even hardly listen to anything even one employee actually lied and said he did not tell at me this morning. I would never recommend staying if Ryan's attitude is what they feel is right for representation if...
Read moreI and my wife had a horrific stay at a hotel during our wedding anniversary last year. To make up for the issues I was issued points to go towards a better stay at this hotel. This year for our 23rd wedding anniversary we arrived in the afternoon and the employees were nice and got us checked into a King jacuzzi suite at this hotel. About a hour after we showed up the hot water was not running. It was frigid cold. Complaints started flooding the front desk, I walked around but there was too much conflict being reflected upon the front desk by customers. I have high anxiety issues so I didn’t want to be a part of it. My wife went to get some amenities and an employee started going around asking the guess if they had hot water. A jacuzzi is useless if all you have is ice cold water. With no hot water the pool and hot tub would be unusable also. I started calling the front counter during the late afternoon and on into the evening with no answer. Around midnight I walked around to the front counter. There was a lady who came from the hotel linen laundry room, through the security office, and to the front desk. She said a plumber had came and serviced the plumbing and left and there was still no hot water. She then said she had to go through the breaker electrical box and found that after the plumber was done they had forgot to turn it back on. She had flipped it back on and said we should have hot water now. This was after midnight. I told her we rented a jacuzzi room and the whole point of it was useless by now, she just smiled and wouldn’t say another word. I commented again and she didn’t reply so I left back...
