Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Riverside Township

I'm usually all for Sonic, especially during Summer, it's one of my favorite places to go for Ice Cream/Slushies and I've never really had any issues with an order in the past! However, today we decided to stop at this Sonic before leaving Wichita to grab a slushie for the road.. was super disappointed and was not impressed at all. There was trash all over the parking lot.. There was only one other customer there besides us so they weren't too busy, but not one employee was even attempting to clean up. The slushies were completely melted. There was zero ice/slush in them so it was basically like drinking flavored syrup and water. The car hop came back to our vehicle and we kindly explained the issue, he took the drinks back and said they would remake them, but when we tried the ones he supposedly remade they were the exact same way. We asked him to try again and he got super irritated with us.. which is understandable considering it seems like such a small thing but when I go somewhere and pay for a slushie then I would appreciate and expect to get what I paid for.. not something I didn't pay for, didn't order, and don't enjoy. With that being said, the 3rd ones he brought out to us were the same as the first 2.. no ice/slush and was basically like drinking flavored syrup and water. We ended up giving up, accepting what we got, and left.. stopping at a nearby dumpster to throw them away...

Just went through at 10:38 pm . By this point in the night everything should be made fresh to order. I received soggy chili cheese fries after less than 2 minutes of sitting there. The manager that was working was the same manger that I just had issues with the other night. When I pulled up to the window I had 4 people just standing around all staring at me. The manger recognized me and realized I was the one that she had an issue with. They all stood around staring at me the car hop actually asked them to leave and stop staring at me. When I got my food it wasn't even very warm. I didn't even eat it. This is the 2nd time in less than a week going to this sonic and having issues. When I called the general manager about it she just made excuses for this "new manager" I am very unhappy with the service received. I came back to give them another shot after they screwed up once this week for them to completely screw it up again. How hard is it to drop fresh french fries I would have rather waited the 3 minutes for a fresh order of fries rather than received soggy cold ones. Every time i go here I have issues. I do not recommend them ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. It is nothing more than a high school play ground manage by a teenager that clearly...

Tonight was an order for 4 combo meals,,, the tots were so extremely salty was unable to eat them... Cone on Sonic,, you can do better than this,, if all else fails, REMOVE THE SALT SHAKER....

Here we go again,, I stopped on Wed 26th to treat a granddaughter to a blast,, She ordered an Oreo Blast,, I ordered a Heath Bar Blast...When server brought them out she started to set Oreo in front of me,, I passed it to my granddaughter.. I received my Heath,,, as we started to eat the blasts,, I discovered chunks of Oreo cookie in mine and Peyton found very fine ground candy bar in hers... The wrong toppings were on the blasts to identify and tell them apart... Yes,, a miner mistake,, but only 2 items should have been easy to get them right....

I like to stop occasionally and get a Snickers Blast... tonight I was treating my daughter and family... when I went to order 6 med blasts was informed the blast machine was not working.... I ended up changing the order to 6 shakes...I requested they please mark the cups so I'd know which each was....when the girl brought out the order she started telling me where each different shake was in carrier plus the 2 extras...... not very good service not to mark...
