This campground is located about a mile from Salisbury beach, so the location is primo if you like the beach. They also have a very well kept pool, which is nice if you don’t like the beach or need a an afternoon reprieve. The sites are pretty tight and it was a little buggier than I would have anticipated, even during the day. The cable for TV wasn’t great, but I think they are working on upgrading this. I must say everything is very clean and well maintained - this is a huge plus and earns major points. My only real letdown is our departure...after staying 4 nights, my parents moved the Rv to a spot just down the street and we were in the pool when they left and they literally kicked us out. We had planned to leave around 12:30pm (which we told them) but they kicked us out. After spending 4 nights there and not using the pool for 2 of those days I was pretty taken back by this especially because they were so incredibly kind and sweet. It’s not as if the pool was packed or we were unruly or partying. I just think this is such a minute thing in the grand scheme and it definitely had an impact at the end of our stay. Overall a very beautiful spot. I...
Read moreIm asuming the sevice is very good, although the staff seem scarse when I arrived, there were no emplyees, but the family who ran this place were having supper . so I waited abot 10 min for someone to answer me. Thier price was very expenive for a camping, about the same price as a 3 star motel with pool. And that was his explanation, we offer the same service as a motel. Well, I dont know of any motel were you bring your own bed, and bedding... and most motels I have stayed at have a cleaning ladies every day, and have clean towels also. This place has a nice pool, but other than that I did not see any exceptional motel service. Ok a fire pit , instead of a TV, but my tv would have free cable, this place did not offer free wood. As for security, well, this place is located next to a cockroch motel ( for real) with a trailer park of the worst kind in back of the motel. I had the pleasure of taking the wrong entrance, and visiting the trailer park. I had the impression I would need to dodge a few bullets i stayed any longer. I was pretty sure Earl's wife was staying here, and Earl at the motel up front. NICE! But no secutity to bee seen at the...
Read moreOur sons were off from school the week of April 12-16 and we were looking for something to get us out of the house. We wanted to get our RV on the road for the first time this season, but there were very few RV parks open in New England this time of year. We were happy to find Beach Rose in an area that piqued our interests. This was a small open field type of RV park, not our usual preference, but their website represented it accurately so we have no complaints. The area was clean, we never used any of the onsite buildings but all the hookups for our 5th wheel were functional and well maintained. The owners gave us a courtesy call on the day of check-in, which was greatly appreciated as we were running a little late so it was good to be reassured that someone would be there to meet us. The location was great, as it allow us to visit Rockport, Boston, and do some nearby shopping in Seabrook NH. We also visited a triditional Beach Arcade, Joe's Funland, in a Nor'easter. The weather was not cooperative but we made...
