Here is what you need to know about this place, and your experience here will vary based on what you come in expecting. First, the good: It is clean and the people who work here are friendly. The common areas are kept up even though this place does have some age on it. The water pressure is high…bring a regulator. It is convenient to the western parts of San Antonio. The bath-houses are clean for the most part, depending on when you visit compared to when they were cleaned…more on that below. The not so good. The sites are close…see the pictures. I knew this going in by looking at Google Maps satellite view, but they were closer than I thought. Be prepared, if you have noisy neighbors, to hear them. Also, if you have to use bathhouses be prepared to walk. The parking spots are taken up by full timers who do not move their cars. The bad. This place is mostly (90% or so) full timers. It is not a “resort.” To me, I get that places like this need to make steady money…that’s not my issue. My issue is that some people who live in an RV in one place as their primary home are not necessarily “camping folks.” It takes zero talent to keep your site clean, and common sense rules from management to ensure that your park doesn’t look like some of the pictures I am sharing. Also, my wife and daughter used the bath house one time and someone had crapped in the shower and left it. The people here are generally friendly, but there is a distinct trailer park vibe here. It feels like a mobile home park and not an RV resort. All that said, if you’re looking for an overnight place, this will do. We were here for almost a week for a conference, and that was about as much as I could take. If this were a vacation trip I would have moved to somewhere else. Hope this helps

Stayed May 6–15, 2025 | 43' Fifth Wheel | Standard Plus Pull-Thru This was our first-ever stop as new fifth-wheel owners, and Admiral RV Resort made it a fantastic experience. We stayed in a Standard Plus Pull-Thru site with full hookups and 50 amps, and had plenty of room for our 43' Grand Design Solitude 417KB and F-350 tow vehicle. Check-in was incredibly easy, and Jennifer at the front desk couldn’t have been kinder—she even drew us a route to our site to make setup smoother. The online booking process was quick and intuitive, even for first-timers. We used the laundry room, which accepted both credit cards and app pay (huge convenience), and while the dog park could’ve used more grass, it got the job done for our pup. We also checked out the restrooms on our last day, and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the showers were. Though sites are fairly close together, the park was quiet and felt safe throughout our stay. There are a lot of long-term residents, but it was still very welcoming to short-term travelers like us. Our AT&T service was strong, so we didn’t use the park Wi-Fi. One standout moment: On the morning of checkout, I called the office to see if we could stay a little past noon since we were dumping and unhooking for the first time. Jennifer responded with, “Oh hun, we figured. Do not worry about it at all, take all the time you need!” — and we were so grateful, especially since we ended up needing every extra minute. The park is also super convenient to SeaWorld and surrounding attractions, making it a great basecamp. Recommended for: Full-timers, short-term travelers, and anyone needing a peaceful, easy-going stay near San Antonio. We’d absolutely stay again.

I’m doing the full time RV living for the very first time and have chosen this RV park for the amenities and location. This is my first month and the public areas are kept very clean. My Salem 32ret is now set up at the park. I’ve booked 6 months at this time because of a special promotion. Receiving mail and packages is very convenient as well. UPDATE: I have resided here since 7/2024. Now, 1/2025 I’ve resided here Six months and I’m still very happy with this RV Park. All of the staff are friendly and ready to help. Jennifer and Mike in the office are more than ready to help, Oscar and Jacob are always available for maintenance needs. And although Shay is no longer with us, she and the other custodial staff keep the bathrooms, showers and laundry room clean 24/7. I also like the fact that they do monthly community activities so that those who are long term can meet and get to know our neighbors. This dog friendly park is also a huge plus. The time has come for me to leave this park as I’m moving out of state. UPDATE: I’ve resided here for 16 months, I’ve seen nothing but positive changes and this is definitely a popular vacation resort. I’ve seen the comings and going of many! Manage has changes and it was a smooth transition, needed changes have occurred however I can truly say that JamieLyn keeps us abreast of all updates in a timely manor. She and the entire staff are friendly and make you feel at home. I can’t say enough about this resort. I can not hope that my new resort is as welcoming to full time residents as I’ve found here.

We came here in June of 2015 through March of 2016, long term-monthly as my wife is a contract nurse. This qualifies and entitles me to comment on my stay here.

We arrived in the middle of the day on a Saturday, mid-June. Check-in was prompt and all the office staff were nice and friendly. We were escorted to our site by the workers who helped us get parked in the right spot on the site. Their sites are different sizes and different prices, according to whether you have an extra parking space and tree coverage. We chose a site with no trees and extra parking. The price was approximately 590/month which includes 500 kilowatts of power. Remember, trees are nice for shade but if you park under them, you have to deal with birds.

The sites are all concrete and the roads are paved. This is an older park so some settling of the concrete may have occurred. Check your RV to make sure it is level. On each site is a blue line on the left side. Put your RV wheels on the blue line and you will be perfect as far as your slide-outs and it will also keep you from encroaching on your neighbor’s space.

The grounds are well kept. Everyone working there are work campers, including the office staff, so they take a little pride in where they live. “J.B.”, the manager, runs a tight ship. There are some rules here. They aren’t overly pushy about them, but if you go the wrong way on one of the roads, park in an empty spot when you aren’t supposed to, make too much noise after quiet time, or let your dog run lose, don’t be surprised if you find a note on your door calling it to your attention. Frequent violations are a good way to get asked to leave, with no refund. There has to be rules in place or this would be just like all the other dumpy parks you see.

The pool is heated and is cleaned every morning. The bath houses and laundry room is cleaned early in the morning. If you go in in the afternoon, and find that they are dirty, understand that people use those bath houses throughout the day and someone could have messed it up since it was cleaned. If you find a bath house that needs attention, contact the office and the staff will take care of it. WiFi is available, but is not supplied by the park, but rather it is supplied by Tengonet. The park has no control over Tengonet. So don’t go on an RV park review site and complain about the WiFi and blame the park. There is a customer service number on the Tengonet site for you to call. There is no cable TV provided by the park. If you are staying for an extended period, Time Warner Cable can install for you, cable and high speed internet. There are over 50 local channels available, just off your RV TV antenna.

There are two dog runs on the south side of the park, on each side of the bath house. There are doggy waste bins and a nice dog poop scooper there….use them! Clean up after your dog. Yes, the camp workers clean the dog run every morning, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to pick up your dog’s poop. Be a responsible pet owner.

The office is open from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday and 8am to 5pm on Sunday. If you have a reservation and you know you will be late getting in, call the office for instructions. This is especially necessary if you have reserved a cabin as the office must be open for you to get your key. Calling the office is the best way to handle it, and arrangements can be made to assist you. As with everything in life, nothing is perfect. Go looking for imperfections at Admiralty and you will surely find them. But I can honestly say that out of the 20 plus parks I have stayed in over the past 2 years, this has been...

Horrible Rude Manager!!! We arrived at the RV Admiralty resort and parked in the designated RV parking area in front of the office. We checked in and paid for one night's stay. As we were about to drive the RV over to our site the RV wouldn't start. Not even 10 minutes had passed when a grumpy mean man- the so-called manager named "J.B" rudely told my husband that he would give us 10 more minutes to get it started or he would call someone to tow it. My poor husband desperately kept trying to to get it started and we immediately started making phone calls. It was a Sunday so the only RV mechanic that was willing to come out was about 30 minutes away. 30 minutes passed and again the grumpy unprofessional manager came up to my husband. My husband was very polite to this man and told him that a mechanic was on his way and would be arriving shortly. That's when the manager "J.B" starts to talk to him very rudely and tell him that he doesn't want a mechanic that he needs a tow truck to move us and that if we didn't get it moved he was going to call a tow truck immediately. At this point my husband asked him if he knew of any tow trucks that we could call and he said "NO but whoever I call is going to cost you a lot more money". At that point I told the man that I didn't like the way he was treating us. This whole time we had been very polite and were doing everything possible to get our RV moved. He said "I DON'T CARE BUSINESS IS BUSINESS". I explained to him that that wasn't the way to treat a customer and he again said ' I DON'T CARE BUSINESS IS BUSINESS". I don't like to use the word racism loosely but in this case it was pretty obvious that we were being treated this way because we were hispanic. The man wouldn't even look at us as he spoke. When I finally told him that I couldn't believe the way he was treating us and that I believed that he was being a racist he finally made eye contact with me. His eyes got so big, he looked like he wanted to hit me. He yelled at me and told me to go inside the office get a refund and "GET OUT OF HERE". The mechanic arrived 3 minutes later and was shocked to hear what had just happened. He towed us with his truck to a building located next door and within 5 minutes had our RV started!!!! I've never experienced anything like this anywhere!!! We were very shocked by the behaviour of this man, and when we tried calling the office to ask who we could write a letter of complaint to, the office staff said it had to be to the manager "JB" haha!!!!! Incredible!!! I hope the owner of the park is reading this so he/she can be aware of the way this man is treating customers and I hope that customers who read think twice about...

Admiralty USED to be a nice place, but with this recent management change it leaves a lot to be desired. The interim manager who is there will put his buddies into spots they don't belong in due to RV size and kick people out for getting mad at his buddy coming within inches of taking out the homes AND vehicles of two different families and having to drive fully on other peoples' sites in order to attempt to get into the site they don't belong in. If you have to drive fully on someone else's site to try to fit in a site, you're too big for the site you're trying to get in. If we hadn't been home to move our truck they would have just allowed that guy to hit our stuff and told us directly that the park would not have been responsible for that despite the fact that we followed all the rules and were completely in our site, with no portion of our vehicle in the road.

But God forbid you hurt that manager's feelings with bad words when you're mad that your home and vehicle were almost destroyed and you were told that even if there had been a collision the park would refuse responsibility. He'll evict you even when you've had no violations. Furthermore, instead of corporate reviewing the camera footage, they'll just take the manager's word on everything so beware. The interim manager is on a power trip and has a severe Napoleon complex.

This park has been going downhill recently. They raise rates, don't improve amenities, and have recently been having issues with homeless people wandering into the park and endangering residents. Now, they did fix some major water issues over the summer so I'll give them that, and they are close to Sea World. Some key things to take in: corporate will never believe you even though they could review their own cameras, the interim manager lies and plays favorites, and the park will never accept responsibility if your personal property (i.e. your RV/home and/or vehicles) is damaged due to their incompetence.

Aside from the interim manager, all the other workers are great. Jenn is awesome at the front desk and is extremely personable and helpful. Myra works really hard to keep the park facilities clean and safe. And Oscar works his butt off every single day to help all the residents in the park and bends over backwards all the time to help. Those folks are amazing and I will miss them, but I do not miss the interim manager. I pray that he does not receive the full time manager position. If Quality RV puts that interim manager into the full time manager position, this...
