Attention Consumers- If you go through Drive Thru be AWARE of what you are ordering and before you drive off make sure you got your correct tacos as well. But, first while ordering at the window my husband order 4 Carne Guisada with CHEESE, 2 Barbacoa and 2 large lemonades. So, the guy repeated the order & my Husband confirmed with the response “CORRECT”.So, the guy at the window hands over the card reader machine & my husband was confused because he realized seconds ago he had just handed over his card when he was being charged & there was this Employee giving him the machine. So, when my husband was looking at the machine he read $6 $7 $8 or no tip button options. So, my husband this time decided No Tip. As it is CONSUMERS are struggling & to give options like this is ridiculously insane. C’mon now WE the CONSUMERS are giving you all our business. We are the reason why Tia’s Taco Hut is existing & the Owner is able to pay Employees. I can UNDERSTAND that we are paying for our food & it’s being prepared, but why do WE the Consumers have to pay EXTRA for something we already paying for? WE are paying at a Drive Thru & why do we have to pay for that type of tip at a Drive Thru? We are getting services like when you dine in? My Husband and I are big tippers (if) the service & food are good. But, we don’t believe paying for tip at the window of a drive thru. So, when my husband put No Tip option. The guy’s face dropped because he can see his screen while my husband is putting no tip. My husband hands over the machine back & said Thank you Sir. My husband said the guy didn’t respond & made a face; closed the window & took off. He said he can see him talking to the girl and then came back with my husband’s order. My husband said he heard the window slide open and the guy said sarcastically Here you go Sir & my husband noticed that grin on his face that didn’t fit right in his stomach. My husband said, either they did something to our tacos or they didn’t put cheese on our Carne Guisada or both. My husband said, he’s gonna let everyone where he works at know of his experience & let them know what they are doing to their Customers at a Drive thru. My Husband’s experience happened today 7/11/24 @ 6:04 am. Like I mentioned we are big tippers & we understand that waiters/ waitresses depends on tips as their income. But, Drive Thru we are getting regular service & we are not being waited on like when we dine in. Not to mention we are getting charged for using our card to pay for our food. My Husband & I are very disappointed with the service he got this morning & what this young man did was very rude & disrespectful. Tia’s Taco Hut lost our business & we will be going back to our regular place we normally eat. Oh, when I called to file a complaint to the Manager he said the Manager was off & would be back in the morning. He had asked if he can help me & I explained to him what had happened. He told me I can return the tacos back so they can put cheese on them.. lol this is so halarious. Really? I told him I live far. No thanks! I just need to talk to the Manager. Read moreMy friend and I went to have lunch there on a Monday afternoon. I ordered menudo and it was not even hot and didn't have enough caldo in it. The waitress asked if we would like chips and salsa we said yes. Chips and salsa have always been brought to the table without being asked. Our waitress never came to check on us because she was to busy sitting at the bar counter with other employees just talking away.. As I paid I asked for a refill on Ice Tea cup to go the cashier asked me to remove my lid which I did. She left with my cash & cup and was gone for about 5 minutes. My friend and I kept waiting for her to return and as I looked she was at the drive-thru window taking orders with my cup in her hand. Another cashier asked where we were sitting at and I told her I already had paid the other girl at the drive-thru window and she proceeded to tell me that the register at the front didn't work so she had to use the cashier register at the drive-thru. I told her I need to leave and could I please have my change. The first cashier came back with my refill and my change and said they were busy when there was only two tables in there.I have been to the one Badcock Rd. location and Sandra has been so welcoming and has treated us like family there. The service on Badcock is on point as well as the food. Unfortunately my experience on potranco road was not so great. I will never come back to this location I will only go with Sandra. They need to take some lessons with Sandra so they could learn how to be more respectful, courteous, and attentive with customers. Sorry for the bad review but this was my experience there. Read moreWhoever you’ll have in the drive thru this morning 3.22.22 totally turned my family off to your restaurant. You guys recently opened near our home and we have been supportive and we love the food. Today we were treated very ugly by the lady in the drive thru window and it’s disgusting how she handles your customers. She had no patience at all, she kept telling us that she couldn’t hear us, but never tried to actually hear us she just kept repeating I can’t hear you. We drive up to the window and she shuts the window as soon as we pull up. We patiently wait!!!!! Finally she comes and my husband is ordering and hasn’t been here as often as me he ask her what types of tacos you’ll carry and she kept saying ALL KINDS my husband is new to tacos and Texas so he politely asked what does that mean. Again she states ALL KINDS and he said nicely can you tell me which ones you carry. At this point her attitude was disrespectful towards us she started SAYING THE NAMES so fast like she was hosting a bidding fair. Please don’t put this lady at the drive thru anymore if you want to keep business thriving. We have never had an issue with the gentlemen who handles the drive thru he is amazing and his customer service is 5star. This lady however ruined our morning and we got tacos elsewhere.
