I would give this hotel 5 stars if it was not for a couple of issues.||We travelled with 3 kids including a 1 year old toddler. ||1) When we were checking in the front desk employee told us they had no more baby cribs left. When I asked her what should we do and where would our baby even sleep, she just said "I don't know, I can give you a refund and you can go to a different hotel". This was at 10 pm at night, with 3 kids with us. I had to google stores in the area myself with no help from said employee and find a Walmart nearby, luckily they had one pack n play left and my husband barely made it there in time before they close. We talked to the general manager about this issue the next day, and he gave us parking refund. Still, it was a super stressful check in experience. If we went to Walmart just 10 minutes later, it would have been closed, and I have no idea where our baby would have slept. ||2) We got to the room and it had no bathtub. No tub to bathe our 1 year old. I called the front desk and was told there are no tubs in the hotel except for a couple of double bed suites. Nowhere during the reservation process on their website does it say that there are no bathtubs in the hotel. We booked a King suite and it gave us options between "king accessible ADA compliant shower only" and "king", we assumed regular King had a tub. Nope. ||3) I got dinner for the kids at the hotel restaurant downstgairs and they managed to even screw that up. Instead of grilled cheese sandwiches from the kids menu they gave us grilled chese sandwiches with steak. Just cheese and steak, for some reason. Of course, the kids did not eat them, and we had to toss them. When we went downstairs for a drink with my husband later, I told the lady who took my order about this screw up. She just laughed and said "oh well you got a more expensive item". Next day we all went there for dinner, and I ordered a grilled cheese again, from the same lady. You would think she would offer it for free since she messed it up the night before. Nope. ||Overall, the hotel is renovated/new, offers good value for the money, free breakfast. This is our second time staying at a Hilton property in that area, and probably will be the last. Our first time was in Hilton across the street from Universal, and the customer service there was even worse. When you travel with children, all the extra stresses add up to one...
Read moreI never write bad reviews, but felt that something needed to be posted so that hopefully another person doesn't have to experience what we did. We stayed here the evening of May 7th. Late check in after traveling all day. It was late and we were exhausted. On arrival, one of the night staff was smoking just outside the entrance (leaving a lit cig to return to)and it reeked of cigarettes and fake air freshener in the lobby. Once I got to the room, and got my luggage (a coyote was in the parking lot), I began feeling completely disappointed. The word disappointed does not even begin to cover how the room was presented. There is no way that the room should have ever been given to a guest. It was midnight at this point and we needed rest. Dirty, moldy, and loud. The mold was not just in the bathroom, but on the edge on the base trim, doorways, and coming out of the a/c vents. Walls with partial uncompleted mismatched paint. Marks on the walls that weren't painted yet. Damaged lamp shades. Holes above the curtain rod tracks. Red splatters on the wall above the right side of the sofa. I called immediately on check in to report the damaged lamp shades. The front desk seemed annoyed, didn't offer any room change, but said she would note it. I then had to call again because the thermostat wasn't working and the room was very stuffy and moldy smelling with a touch of fake air freshener. Our room was facing the elevator lobby and was so loud, we were unable to rest. I almost felt punished for a late check in, even though I called ahead 2 different times to confirm my room and make sure everything was okay. The only positive, was the front desk staff at check out in the morning was very helpful and kind. I usually love Embassy Suites and the amenities that it has to offer and have stayed at this location in the past 3 different times with no prior issues. I was shocked at the appearance of our room. I have never stayed in a room like this before. I took tons of pictures..This trip felt more like a cheap motor lodge stay in a horror movie, than the quality Hilton's Embassy Suites brand usually has to offer. Embassy Suites Valencia used to be nice...What happened? Stay at...
Read moreThis hotel has great potential, but we arrived at the hotel, and checked in. We took the elevator up to the third-floor, because that’s where were staying as we walked through the hallways there were plates of trash and dishes. Everywhere I mean everywhere every single door had dirty dishes, sitting outside of them, including our door. I was very shocked as to. I had never been to a hotel that kept dirty dishes in the hallway for such a long period of time . We entered the room and I just looked around a little bit and realize that the bed has never been changed. You could see an imprint of somebody’s mascara and eyeliner on the pillow. There was also other stuff on the pillows. I’m not sure what it was, but they were dirty very dirty. There was also a bunch of stuff smudged on mirrors. There was hair in the shower, that shower was absolutely dirty and disgusting. We ended up going to the gym to shower because we mentioned the cleanliness to the hotel desk and it took them four hours to get somebody to come change our bedsheets and they never sent anybody to clean the shower or the smudged mirrors instead they waved are $12 parking fee which should have been included with their $150 a night stay I’ve never been to a hotel that charges you for parking. Absolutely ridiculous. It seems like a scam to me. They are complementary breakfast was meh OK the omelette was good because it was made fresh but they’re eggbeaters and undercooked hashbrowns didn’t make for a pleasant start to the day. Overall, my experience was pretty self-explanatory. It wasn’t a great stay thank goodness. We only stay there for the night but I feel bad for the people who were there with their children. It’s not fair that I spend so much money on this room and all that went wrong I got a $12, free parking absolutely ridiculous. Stay away from this location. It is close to a lot of things in the area but totally not...
