Free coffee, free hot breakfast (with hatch green chile!!), super friendly staff, and rates under $100/night..what more could you want?? If you're traveling through Santa Fe, you have to stay at the Inn at Santa Fe by @Best Western® Hotels & Resorts! #hotel #inn #roadtrip #stayawhile #complimentarybreakfast

This hotel and management is in collusion with Knights towing to charge. a fee of 400 dollars if you stay at the hotel There is no parking though they advertise free parking The inn parking lot is taken up by massive tour buses. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to get your car towed and pay an exorbitant fee Not a place for anyone to stay The front desk clerk Oscar R just laughs at gusts when they report the problem The owner has responded to this review with a false report of my family being disruptive This never happened But my attorney will be in touch You do offer free parking and your parking lot is full of five buses that are permanent fixtures in the small parking lot taking up 30 parking spots leaving no parking for guests This forces the guests to park in an empty adjacent lot where their car will be towed The owner responded they have posted notes in the Hotel about cars being towed and that means there is an issue Be very leary of an operation where an owner responds by blaming the guest

On our way to our room on the third floor, we were greeted by a 6 foot high pile of soiled linen on the floor. This room was Smaller than the camper I pull behind my truck. The shower stall look like a science fiction pod were people were changed into zombies, tiny. We would not step into it. The toilet had no door on it, but a rickety old sliding piece of plyboard. The tiny space given the toilet had nothing but floor to place anything on, not a single shelf. The bathroom sink, because of the tiny room space, was within 1 foot of the bed. The bathroom sink vanity hardly had any room to set a cosmetic bag or shaving kit. The space between the foot of the bed and the desk chair was so small, it did not allow passage of anyone go between them when the office chair was occupied. The desk was very small. THERE IS NO CLOSET. This room has no closet because it is so small. No place to open a suitcase, either. The small fridge and microwave were stacked on top of each other. The heater was very loud and never went off in all night.

Little Wings and I decided to take a trip to Santa Fe NM. We needed a place to stay in Santa Fe due to flight abilities. We looked at the reviews here which were a 2.0 and yet did not feel that Best Western would actually partner with a hotel with such a rating. THEN …… we arrived there late due to our flight delays. The receptionist signed us in and we went to our room, tired and went to sleep. I was up at least 3 to 4 times that night trying to adjust the heat and the A/C it was either entirely too hot or too cold no in between (every night). The next morning I brought it to the agent at the desk and was told that was how they did things with the systems they had, accepted at the time only due to the apologies rendered.

Now Little Wings and I try to travel and have traveled a lot over the years, we are free spirits and very little gets under our skin, we have seen good and we have seen bad, THIS PLACE IS VERY BAD. THIS IS A MUST READ FOLLOWERS!!!!!

The room was at best fair. ALTHOUGH, we were not told nor explained about this ridiculous room amenities program regarding the room cleaning program. We took care of our room the first couple days. Then we got very sick from either food poisoning or the virus that was going around. We suffered in bed for two days, the next morning went to the agent at the desk and asked that our room be cleaned and sheets changed due to our sickness. I was told by the agent at the desk that morning, "Tammy" that I had to be on a list the night before to have my room placed on a list to have my room cleaned. I have never been to another hotel where I had to request to have my room cleaned, this is part of the amenities of all if not the majority, I’ve had to ask that my room not be cleaned, which is fair. I explained our situation and asked for an exception then I was told there were no exceptions. This was very unprofessional and showed a lack of compassion and empathy. After being told this so-called rule, I went to their website and NO WHERE it stated that you have to be on a list to have your room cleaned. Then I researched the internet regarding their amenities guidelines about cleaning rooms and changing sheets, the following is stated as I have copied and pasted their program.

These are results for If I'm staying at the Santa Fe Inn hotel, how often can I have my sheets changed if I'm staying there for a week.Search instead for If I’m staying at the Santa Fe Inn hotel, how often can I have my sheets changed if I’m staying there for a week

OVERVIEW:

IF YOU'RE STAYING AT THE SANTA FE INN FOR A WEEK, YOU CAN TYPICALLY REQUEST TO HAVE YOUR SHEETS CHANGED EVERY DAY AS MOST HOTELS, INCLUDING THE SANTA FE INN, WILL CHANGE SHEETS BETWEEN EACH GUEST STAY, MEANING YOU CAN ASK FOR A FRESH SET DAILY IF YOU WISH.

NO, YOU TYPICALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE ON A SEPARATE LIST TO GET YOUR ROOM CLEANED AT THE INN AT SANTA FE, AS ALL REGISTERED GUESTS STAYING AT THE HOTEL WILL AUTOMATICALLY HAVE THEIR ROOMS SERVICED BY HOUSEKEEPING UNLESS THEY INDICATE OTHERWISE WITH A "DO NOT DISTURB" SIGN ON THEIR DOOR.

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER:

STANDARD PRACTICE: MOST HOTELS, INCLUDING THE INN AT SANTA FE, AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDE ROOM CLEANING FOR REGISTERED GUESTS.

DO NOT DISTURB SIGN:

IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR ROOM CLEANED, SIMPLY HANG A "DO NOT DISTURB" SIGN ON YOUR DOOR.

BREAKFAST: Every day you had the exact same thing, absolutely nothing changed, if you are an overnighter this is okay, but to stay for any length of time every hotel I’ve stayed in tries to change the menu somewhat. NOT THIS PLACE. It was the same thing every morning for the hot bar. (Scrambled eggs, link sausage, a green pepper salsa, and silver dollar pancakes, every morning the same thing.

There was mold growing on the shower door at the bottom where the glass meets the chrome, disgusting, and a lack of a good cleaning.

Well.... the personalities of certain representatives should be visited and your menu should also be visited. It might be okay with your overnighters but long term is a disgrace for the money, I WOULD...

My friend and I were completing our tour of northern New Mexico with an overnight stay in Santa Fe. We chose the Inn at Santa Fe (by Best Western) because of its handy location to I-25 (since we were leaving from Albuquerque the next day) and our loyalty to the Best Western brand. I am SO glad we made that choice!

We arrived in Santa Fe earlier than expected and, since it was on our way to town, we stopped at the Inn to see if our room might be ready. Oscar was at the front desk and was extremely welcoming and helpful. He checked with housekeeping, and there WAS a room available for us! We really appreciated that, as we were traveling with food that needed to go in the fridge.

Our room was on the third floor, just around the corner from the fitness room (very handy!) and close to the elevator and common area. It was very nicely appointed, with plenty of room for both of us to move around and for all our suitcases. The décor was up to date and everything was quite clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, and despite the hotel’s proximity to the freeway, there was minimal traffic noise from outside.

The layout of the hotel is open and inviting, with common areas on each of the three floors located near the elevator. It was nice to have a place to sit comfortably and read if my friend wanted to get to sleep earlier than I did. There is a pool and hot tub, but the pool is not yet back in use after COVID. The hot tub was warm and relaxing, and I appreciated being able to soak in it after our day of travel. The free breakfast started at 6:30 the next morning and was quite tasty; there were plenty of hot and cold options to choose from before we got back on the road.

The hotel’s location is in a newer area that seems very safe; mostly shops and office buildings. The parking lot has ample spaces and is well-lit. The only difficulty with the location is that there aren’t a lot of restaurant choices nearby. But Oscar gave us a great tip for lunch (Joe’s Dining) which was quite good. Since the hotel sits just off Cerrillos Road, it was easy to take surface streets to wherever we were going.

Hotel management has definitely put thought into ensuring their guests have a good stay, as evidenced by all the little touches in and around the hotel. For example, by the front desk they’ve posted a shortcut to the museum area in town (so you can avoid the Plaza crowds). They do recycle, and Oscar cheerfully accepted my mixed-use bag we’d collected over the past few days. There’s a PC set up on the first floor for guests not traveling with their own devices; I found it very helpful to be able to log onto the internet and check the status for our travel the next day. There are luggage carts so we could bring our things up to and down from our room in one trip. There are brochures about Santa Fe and things to do there in the lobby, and Oscar was able to answer any questions we had. Kudos to Oscar for being a FABULOUS concierge in addition to running the front desk!

Again, it was the BEST choice we made, to stay at The Inn at Santa Fe on our last overnight in New Mexico! We will remember it and, the next time we return, we’ll be back to the Inn—and we’ll...

Having driven 600 miles earlier in the day I was looking forward to a good spot to relax and get ready to continue my travel early in the morning. When searching hotels the fact that this hotel offered a sauna and jacuzzi got me interested. Before booking I called the front desk because I had read the reviews from several guests that mentioned the spa equipment had problems. The response was that most of the issues were "user error", and that the sauna/jacuzzi were working. Actually... they don't. The heating unit in the sauna was terribly weak for the size of the room. It ran for more than an hour and never approached adequate heat. Even if sitting directly next to the heater it wasn't hot enough. As others described here the jacuzzi was also a mystery machine. No matter what you did at the timer dial the jets would just cycle on and off every 3 minutes or so and stay off for the same duration then kick back on. These problems should be corrected, as to me it is false advertising to list amenities that in fact are not acceptable.

As for the room itself, the first issue was the door lock refused to open when pushing the handle downward. The only way to get the door to open was to lift the handle up, which I discovered after trying several times the other (normal) way. The room was clean, bed comfortable as you'd expect.

Towels were the hard scratchy type found in Motel 6, the TV came on at high volume (housekeeping should check that and always have the volume low when new guests arrive). The phone message light flashed constantly as if there were new messages but when you check there are none. Yet the light stayed flashing always. Mini fridge was very loud, so I had to turn it off in order to have quiet.

Overall, I was disappointed and would look for a different option if visiting...
