Ill start this review with saying, I am a real estate investor and develop tiny home/rv communities so I am very critical of RV parks infrastructure and operations, so this is a honest review for which I am not being compensated. This was our First visit to Santa Rosa, Florida in our 42’ Diesel Pusher Motorhome. My family loved the area and will definitely be back! We brought our two teenage daughters and our Germsn Shepherd for this trip. When we arrived we stayed in another RV park in the 30a area and were less than impressed with the amount charged and lack of amenities. We ended up leaving after the first night due to several issues and lack of service. So, I searched around and found this little GEM A+++++ SoWal Palms RV Park!!! We have been 100% satisfied with this beautiful park and its not even completely done being remodeled. We stayed 3 nights. The manager took the time to call me before our stay and offered me to be able to use their office wifi for my work until they are able to get the 5 acre park up and running with Eero mesh networking. The park is sooo Beautiful and the managing couple is so hospitable and friendly. Clean Bathrooms, tiny home rentals, dust free rock rv parking, new plumbing and electrical, fresh asphalt roads, great location of 98, 75’ pull thru spaces with full hookups, close to the beach and so much more!!! They also keep an eye on everything in the park and let you know whenever there is an issue, like when my hose sprung a leak. We could not be more happy with the beauty of the park and cant wait to be back here to see when its finished completely! If we are even able to book a spot here in the future without 5 years notice!! :) once the world finds out about this AMAZING place, they will be booked solid 365 a year!!!...
Read moreWe were here for a week in our Class B and enjoyed it. We are not RV Park fans, we prefer state campgrounds but they are impossible to book in season. So we're not RV park people but SoWal was so nice we'd likely return. Level spots easy to get in and out of. Clean restrooms. Community gas grills. Pickleball Court. Community gas fireplace. Small kids playground. Best of all was the convenience: 2-3 mile bike ride or easy drive to 30A public beach access. Walmart about 8 miles, Publix about 4 miles. There are some restaurants within walking distance. It's very close to the main highway but surprisingly quiet at night. 60-Amp service, H2o and sewar at every site. Parking area was course stone, but they are adding paver stone picnic tables to each site. Most perimeter sites had them already. There was not a lot of park traffic which we appreciated. Hosts/managers were great! Shortcomings (remember we're park people so this may not apply to you. They could use a lot more trees and a lot less light at night. The front couple of rows are reasonably lit and along the perimeter it looked okay but in the center of the rear section we felt like we were in Times Square. We had hoped the pool would be in by the time we arrived, not so but still...
Read moreWe stayed July 15-19 in a pull-through site. The site was fairly level, and easily accommodated our 38’ class A motor home. Daisy was friendly and helpful. The park was quiet and clean, and we felt safe there. It was easy to reach, and easy to pull out when it was time to leave; a plus for our rig with our tow vehicle. We were close to several beautiful beaches, lots of great restaurants, several seafood markets, plus plenty of other shopping was available. We loved being able to spend all morning on one of the beautiful beaches, then visit a seafood shop on our way back for lunch. We would fix our seafood, the rest for a bit before heading back to the beach for the evening. After our evening at the beach we could come back and enjoy the WiFi to watch some television before heading to bed. It was quite a quiet, relaxing...
