Our April 2025 week at Hilton's Home2Suites North Scottsdale was a perfect home base for our week long intake at the nearby Mayo Clinic North Phoenix (10 min drive from the hotel). From check-in to check-out we were happy to stay at this hotel: helpful front desk staff, huge one-bedroom suite upgrade, dog friendly, daily free breakfast buffet, abundant outdoor parking including electric plug-in stations (ChargePoint and Blink), decent pool, BBQ grill, fitness room, launderette, and a great North Scottsdale Road location close to the 101 Highway, restaurants and community shopping. The area was safe with lots of new residential development. There was a Panera Bread adjacent to the hotel. There are only a few one bedroom suites. The bedroom is separate from the sitting room/kitchenette, both areas connected into the spacious bathroom, and each area had its own window mounted AC/Heat unit, both worked fine. Mattress was comfortable, though my spouse preferred a firmer mattress. And plenty of lighting and USB ports. If your neighbors are noisy, you will unfortunately hear them talking, loud TV volume, or stomping around above you. Having a non-connecting room might help. The kitchenette had a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, sink, microwave, toaster, coffee brewer, and ceramic plates and cups, stainless flatware, and utensils for an extended comfortable stay. Our suite had a square table for 3, and there was an oval desk with wheels that could be moved as an eating table as well. Both rooms had large flat screen TVs and free WiFi was sufficient for our mobile devices. Daily breakfast buffet was fresh and varied slightly each day, though standard to many other chains: fresh coffee and juices, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, make your own waffles, breakfast sandwich fixings (eggs, sausage or ham), French toast, baked goods. Staff replenished the food and did a great job of keeping the buffet clean. We will definitely book the same one bedroom suite category because of the added space. And we highly recommend this hotel if you need to be in the North Scottsdale area.

My family and I stayed here for over a week while the AC at our house was fixed. Here are a few takeaways from our stay: Pros: The rooms are oversized with plenty of storage. Staff was always very friendly and delivered a great level of hospitality. Breakfast was perfect and easy every morning with the food made fresh and the breakfast bar was kept clean; coffee was just ok but they always kept it fresh and hot. The views from the 4th floor looking West made for some amazing views during the Monsoon season. Everything in the hotel is basically new. Gym was spotless and looks untouched, and the pool was kept quite cool despite it being well over 105F. Cons: Housekeeping and maintenance seem to be the biggest challenge here. When we got to the room there was a lot of crumbs and food left in all of the drawers. The sheets they put on the bed and the pillowcases seem too small as they kept coming off the bed. The toilet seat was broken day 1. They only come every other day and when they do they quick clean the bathroom, change towels, and empty the trash. We had to ask for more TP on more than one occasion. Overall, it was a good experience besides some minor things. We would recommend staying here.

Very nice property, located in a convenient location in Scottsdale. Home2 Suites compares favorably as a ‘good value’ alternative to Marriott’s Residence Inn. Lobby area is not quite as comfortable as most Residence Inn properties, but very functional. Rooms are a bit small, but have the basics. West-facing outdoor area adjacent to the entrance, with a fire pit (in Summers, suitable for mornings or after dark). We’re glad to have found this new location as another option, when Scottsdale area hotels are in demand and rates are high.

The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located next to HonorHealth Thompson Peak Hospital, The Mayo Clinic Scottsdale North and City of Hope. My brother was in HH Hospital. I chose this hotel because of its location. I am so happy I did. When I arrived, I was alone, scared and very upset. I was greeted by Edward at the desk. He was kind, friendly, helpful and he genuinely cared about how I was. Through the 2 weeks I was there, he became a friendly face. He asked how I was, helped me with the madness of rebooking my room every few days (i didn’t know how long I was staying) and became someone who made me feel comfortable and not alone during a hard time. He and ALL of the staff at the hotel were amazing. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and having the full size fridge and kitchenette were helpful. The laundry room is a nice touch. I actually needed it twice. I will be back in a few weeks and I will 100% rebook again. I can’t thank everyone here enough. The hotel is far enough from the freeway that’s quiet, but close enough that’s it quick to hop on to get places. Immediately adjacent to the hotel is a Panera Bread, QDoba, Nail Salon and a few other services. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Edward,...
