Breezy Palms Cottages & RV Park — Hotel in Seadrift

I just stayed at the Breezy Palms for a family reunion and loved it! My family is from Victoria and I am living in Florida. I wanted to stay close to Victoria, but wanted to check out the bay while I was there. We ended up staying in the "Boatel" that they had on the property and was super impressed. They had converted an old shrimping vessel and made it into a large hotel room. There were a total of 4 comfortable beds and even a little kitchen area. There was a large flat screen mounted to the wall with DirectTV available, but we did not use this. This was a unique experience for my family and I look forward to returning next year. The owners were helpful and accommodating. They recommended a couple of great restaurants in Seadrift. If you are looking for a great burger, check out Cathy's. We worked at the local plants and stayed here for a few weeks. Great spot for fishing and closeness to DOW plant. Place was clean and owners live on site so place is run well . Good Wi-Fi set up. This is the cutest little village. Everyone is so friendly. Having lived aboard a boat the same size as the Susie belle, I feel right at home.
