A great experience here. The room was nice, spacious, clean, and quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable. There's a refrigerator, microwave, wifi, DirecTV, and desk in the room. Keurig coffee maker and ice machine is in the office, and the coffee was actually pretty decent. Shower worked well, as did the AC unit. They have a good swimming pool that I took advantage of, and a nice terrace area with tables and grills. Great place to catch the sunset. It was well located for exploring the area, which, for me, meant Port O'Connor, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, and Indianola. It's family run, and the son who manages the place was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the region. Price was very reasonable. Everything was so good, I decided to stay an extra day. Would definitely come here again whenever I'm in the area.

Great value in a small town! This motel may be small, but it's very inviting. The rooms were CLEAN and had tile throughout (huge plus if you travel with animals). The owner is very kind and accommodating to all. It is a family run business and they maintain the property themselves. We stayed here for work because no other hotels had decent reviews. There's a Dollar General and Mexican restaurant within walking distance, very conveniently located off a highway.

Clean accommodations at a very reasonable price. Staff is friendly and prompt. The town is small with limited restaurants, but I am ok with that as well. Shore fishing has been fun and productive so far, with plenty of boat ramps if you want to go that route or charter a guide. I will definitely be back.

Cute little motel, very clean. The staff is very friendly. I dropped a glass bottle of liquid calcium magnesium on the tile floor in our room when I was unpacking it and it made quite the mess. I went to the office to ask for a broom and mop and the lady was more than happy to help me clean it up. She was friendly about my clumsiness and didn’t give me any attitude, just a smiles and understood my pregnancy mishap. My keycard stopped working for some reason and I was able to get a new one fast by calling the number on the office door, even though it was dark and after hours, he got a new one down to me right away. My only complaint is the beds, they weren’t very comfortable, but I’m pregnant and used to sleeping on memory foam. My back and hips are now hurting from two night ms of sleeping on it. If we ever stayed there again, I’d bring a roll up mattress cover for more cushion. Other than that, good and affordable...

I think this place is ideal for men/people who don’t care about where they sleep. I was here for a night and this place is kinda sketchy, the reviews are good so I assumed the rooms would be nice. However, for $88 a night + $25 pet fee I wouldn’t say it was worth it. Bugs are flying all over the room??? There was a stain on the sheets… the lighting in the room isn’t great unless the curtain is open which would give others the ability to see you in your room. I would say the pros are WiFi, relatively clean room and nice and considerate staff. The one thing I can’t get over is the constant bugs flying on me while I’m laying on bed (not under the sheets whatsoever). My dog didn’t even want to stay in the room so...
